Biden gaffe or complete honesty? Is Biden providing some real insight here and asking people to wake up an notice the obvious? Could Biden actually be putting country before politics? The national security of the United States is not something to take lightly. Terrorism is a real and present danger, yet Obama and his surrogates would lead you to believe a rank amature can handle it. Why, Obama’s own VP Joe Biden never thought so in the past and it appears he is still not convinced now.
The media and Obama campaign would lead “We the People” to believe that all new Presidents are tested by crisis. Really, not all. Harken back to when a supposed too old to be President Ronald Reagan first took office. The first thing that happened was that US hostages were freed from Iran as they wanted nothing to do with Reagan. The same can most likely be said regarding McCain. There is a reason why the military supports McCain while Obama draws world support from countries that are hardly friendly to the United States.

Frightening! America will be attacked and Biden is predicting that Obama will not get it right!

The Obama spin machine would lead you to believe that Biden meant the next president’s mettle will be tested no matter who was elected. BS!!! More Obama excuses to his lack of foreign policy credentials. Biden specifically stated, “The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year old senator president of the United States of America.” Last time we checked John McCain was a little older than 47 and tested. BTW, I do not remember the “Bay of Pigs” going to well for JFK.
Answering questions after a meeting with Biden and national security advisers, Obama insists that Joe Biden intended to say that the next president will be tested by foreign powers, regardless of who is elected.
“Joe sometimes engages in rhetorical flourishes, but i think his core point was that the next administration is going to be tested, regardless of who it is,” he said at the Richmond, Va., event.

As Fire Fox notes: We have been sold out, ripped off, pimped and given a bad set of goods with a no refund policy. G.W. has lined the pockets of every crook in town and WE have to pay for it. Doesn’t it seem odd that they would tell us that we have to pay it back, to ourselves? WTF does THAT mean?
To which I address a few simple things.
1. I too, feel all the sentiments of the above paragraph. Let’s be honest—you can’t find many Americans who aren’t FED UP and as that old Movie Network’s slogan used to be: WE’RE MAD AS HELL AND WE’RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE! That is EXACTLY how I feel. Everything you say is true.
I do not profess to be any kind of a political expert, by far. I am just your average- very hard working, middle class, small business owner living here in Boston…watching the world crash down around us. My husband and I, sit around night after night watching the evening news and shaking our heads in disgust. Like millions of other Americans- my husband ALONE has lost well over 100k in his 401k the past 9 months. Yes! 100,000 of his hard earned retirement money and we are beyond pissed off and disgusted about it!!!
BUT- for you or anyone to place all the blame for the latest financial crisis solely at the hands of the Republicans and GWB—that is unfair. Come on, Fire—-who is ruling our Congress by majority right now-DEMS !!!!!!!!!!! Who was on the Ways & Means Finance Committee who is supposed to OVERSEE and GOVERN/REGULATE these types of scandals in the Government—BARNEY FRANK THAT IDIOTIC FOOL !!!!!!!! The very same Man who had the audacity to go before the people a few weeks ago and claim—”I am for the underprivileged and lower income class of this Nation—if it wasn’t for them—I wouldn’t have a job!” Frank- you are a TOOL. Now, thanks to YOU and many of your constituents—MANY AMERICANS OF ALL INCOME LEVELS MAY NOT OR DO NOT HAVE JOBS NOW! I won’t go on and on as my posts are way too lengthy lately- Fire—but the main point I am trying to get across is I believe- the blame for this mess should be shared EQUALLY for all of these officials in office across BOTH SIDES OF THE BOARD. THE ENTIRE GOVERNMENT- BOTH DEMOCRAT AND REPUBLICAN HAVE FAILED US. Yes, they have.
Has GWB done a great job as President? Let history be the judge. I would venture to say he has not been the best President, but- yes—there have been far worse. We are all angry about the War—it is coming to an end. I don’t want to speak about whether or not we should have gotten in to it in the first place…here is what I remember….. As a middle-aged Adult with 2 children under age 10 at the time—I remember SEPTEMBER 11, 2001! Like everyone else. In the 60’s…my parents will never forget the day JFK was assasinated. For me, 9/11 will not ever go away. I lost 2 friends (like millions of other Americans) that day who happened to work in those buildings. I lost my faith in many things that day. I ran to school in a panic, hoping my children were ok. Since they were only in Elementary School at the time- the School Administration thought it unnecessary to panic them and not even tell them of the event, and release them from School that day normally- just like any other. Let me tell you- the night of 9/11 is one I won’t ever forget. Yes, I was afraid—-very afraid—-one of those fully fueled planes had left from Logan Airport. I thought–Oh, My God—we are so vulnerable. I thought, Oh My God–all those innocent people dead at the hands of terrorists! I never thought I would live to see the day when a Nation as good and as strong as ours could be attacked like that. It was a wake up call. Terrorisim is not going away anytime soon. It exists everywhere worldwide—and just b/c Osama Bin Laden has been successful at hiding in the remote mountains of Pakistan since then and moving all around—do you REALLY think we have heard the last of him and Al-Qieda? (sp) Hell, no we haven’t.
That night, Fox- I looked at my sleeping children in their beds- and I knew–our whole world had changed. Forever. These are different times we are living in. I kissed their little heads, and I know I was so caught up in emotion, that I didn’t even realize the tears streaming down my face. All I know- is that when I listened to my President, GWB over the next few days—I felt better. I felt safer. I liked how he took immediate action to protect us and made long overdue changes by forming the Dept. of Homeland Security. The only reason I tell this story is to illustrate that…..I know that—
THE PRICE OF OUR FREEDOM IS NOT REALLY FREE.
I hate War. Who doesn’t? I hate the way our Government spends and spends and spends but doesn’d do enough for our own poor,homeless and needy. If I had all day- I could list a million things I am ANGRY at about the way our Government messes up—again and again and again!

They have been planning- and will continue to plan their next strike. Putin is evil. He is a real threat……..so much to think about. I know in my heart-we didn’t have the very best choices for candidates this year—but—it is what it is. And, I know in my heart- that I want my children to have a bright future. Will my family even be able to afford to pay for a decent College education for them? Will we even be able to retire now at 50, not 65 like we planned? Doubtful if this keeps up.
All I am saying is—— Pick the best person suitable for the job in THESE TIMES.
Stop feeding into the media frenzy of hate, FEAR as you say- and touting Obama as the chosen one because he is intelligent enough (like millions of other Americans) to realize—we do need MANY changes. So! Just by the fact that a REP has been in office for 8 years makes you instantly want to elect a DEM even THOUGH HE IS NOT QUALIFIED TO DO THE JOB????? I don’t care about Biden’s experience—he is not running for President. Most of you know also that the social security fund (to which all workers and their employers input money) has become a congressional slush fund. When congress wants money it “borrows” from the SS fund with no intent or means to pay it back.
So now the Democrats want to create a NEW slush fund! One that will be mandatory, along with a punitive tax on all those 401k accounts that people were counting on to get them through when Social Security goes bankrupt.

That means – if you have 250k in GROSS revenue BUT A NET of 50k after DEDUCTIONS AND PAYROLL YOU WILL BE TAXED AT THE 250K TAX BRACKET ON THE 50K REMAINING.

News flash……the resurgent Taliban now runs nearly 90% of the country. They have been driven from the large cities, but control the much larger open countryside of Afghanistan. Convoys cannot move between cities without fear of attack. We now face an enemy that is fractured, but not broken. The enemy is no longer contstrained by city lines and is therefore much more difficult to hunt down and destroy. The next President will be charged with cleaning up GWB’s mess. What in the world are you talking about?? Mueller wasn’t even nominated by Bush until July 5th and the vote in the Senate was August 2nd which passed unanimously.

Here is some general information for all that don’t understand the politics behind the war in Iraq; After Saddams army invaded Kuwait quite a few years back and all the nations in that area were quivering at our feet looking for us to help them, we stepped in and threw them out. Everybody remember that? You might be too young, it was the Gulf War, Iraq was the only agressor. As a condition that we didn’t keep rolling into Bahgdad and wipe Saddams existance off the face of the earth, for the sake of not offending the same countries that came crying to us, we left him in power under sanctions. With me so far?
The sanctions consisted of size limitations of his forces, no huge guns or missiles capable of hitting Israel, and no nuclear programs. So, after a couple of years of playing nice, Saddam starts kicking UN inspectors out of his country. How come? Because he is doing exactly what he is not supposed to be doing, suprise!
Now take a look back into history and who can tell me who did the same thing when their country was sanctioned after WWI? Thats right, Adolf Hitler! And what was he famous for? Thats right! He built up his military strength under the guise of farm equipment and soon started harvesting countries and culling the Jewish population, 6 million plus or minus I believe, now add in the war casualties. That sounds pretty horible doesn’t it? Sounds like his armed forces were a weapon of mass destruction! Can you imagine if there were nuclear weapons thrown into the mix as well? Wow! What a mess that would be, huh?

With the collapse of the Soviet Union and the government in turmoil, wasn’t there reports that there was some missing plutonium and might be up for sale on the black market? Why yes there was Billy. It was never substantiated because as you might not know, the KGB and the Russian crime syndicate never kept good records of their transactions. Till this day we can’t be sure where that missing plutonium might be.
How come we didn’t find any weapons of mass destruction when we invaded Irag? Here is the key now; We stopped him in time! Wow, a group of intelligent people understood the situation and acted. Barack Obama is offering voters strong incentives to support higher taxes and bigger government. This could be the magic income-redistribution formula Democrats have long sought.
Sen. Obama is promising $500 and $1,000 gift-wrapped packets of money in the form of refundable tax credits. These will shift the tax demographics to the tipping point where half of all voters will receive a cash windfall from Washington and an overwhelming majority will gain from tax hikes and more government spending.
In 2006, the latest year for which we have Census data, 220 million Americans were eligible to vote and 89 million — 40% — paid no income taxes. According to the Tax Policy Center (a joint venture of the Brookings Institution and the Urban Institute), this will jump to 49% when Mr. Obama’s cash credits remove 18 million more voters from the tax rolls. What’s more, there are an additional 24 million taxpayers (11% of the electorate) who will pay a minimal amount of income taxes — less than 5% of their income and less than $1,000 annually.

What next? A core group of Obama enthusiasts — those educated professionals who applaud the “fairness” of their candidate’s tax plans — will soon see their $100,000-$150,000 incomes targeted. As entitlements expand and a self-interested majority votes, the higher tax brackets will kick in at lower levels down the ladder, all the way to households with a $75,000 income.
Calculating how far society’s top earners can be pushed before they stop (or cut back on) producing is difficult. But the incentives are easy to see. Voters who benefit from government programs will push for higher tax rates on higher earners — at least until those who power the economy and create jobs and wealth stop working, stop investing, or move out of the country.
Other nations have tried the ideology of fairness in the place of incentives and found that reward without work is a recipe for decline. In the late 1970s and throughout the 1980s, Margaret Thatcher took on the unions and slashed taxes to restore growth and jobs in Great Britain. In Germany a few years ago, Social Democrat Gerhard Schroeder defied his party’s dogma and loosened labor’s grip on the economy to end stagnation. And more recently in France, Nicolas Sarkozy was swept to power on a platform of restoring flexibility to the economy.
The sequence is always the same. High-tax, big-spending policies force the economy to lose momentum. Then growth in government spending outstrips revenues. Fiscal and trade deficits soar. Public debt, excessive taxation and unemployment follow. The central bank tries to solve the problem by printing money. International competitiveness is lost and the currency depreciates. The system stagnates. And then a frightened electorate returns conservatives to power.
The economic tides will not stand still while Washington experiments with European-type social democracy, even though the dollar’s role as the global reserve currency will buy some time. Our trademark competitive advantage will be lost, and once lost, it will be hard to regain. There are too many emerging economies focused on prosperity and not redistribution for the U.S. to easily recapture its role of global economic leader.
Tomorrow’s children may come to question why their parents sold their birthright for a mess of “fairness” — whatever that will signify when jobs are scarce and American opportunity is no longer the envy of the world.

JERUSALEM – Evidence has emerged that Sen. Barack Obama belonged to a socialist political party that sought to elect members to public office with the aim of moving the Democratic Party far leftward to ultimately form a new political party with a socialist agenda.
Several blogs, including Powerline, previously documented that while running for the Illinois state Senate in 1996 as a Democrat, Obama actively sought and received the endorsement of the socialist-oriented New Party, with some blogs claiming Obama was a member of the controversial party.
The New Party, formed by members of the Democratic Socialists for America and leaders of an offshoot of the Community Party USA, was an electoral alliance that worked alongside the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN. The New Party’s aim was to help elect politicians to office who espouse its policies.
Among New Party members was linguist and radical activist Noam Chomsky.
Obama’s campaign has responded to the allegations, denying the presidential candidate was ever a member of the New Party.
But the New Zeal blog dug up print copies of the New Party News, the party’s official newspaper, which show Obama posing with New Party leaders, list him as a New Party member and include quotes from him.

The party’s Spring 1996 newspaper boasted: “New Party members won three other primaries this Spring in Chicago: Barack Obama (State Senate), Michael Chandler (Democratic Party Committee) and Patricia Martin (Cook County Judiciary). The paper quoted Obama saying “these victories prove that small ‘d’ democracy can work.”
The newspaper lists other politicians it endorsed who were not members but specifies Obama as a New Party member.

New Ground, the newsletter of Chicago’s Democratic Socialists for America, reported in its July/August 1996 edition that Obama attended a New Party membership meeting April 11, 1996, in which he expressed his gratitude for the group’s support and “encouraged NPers (New Party members) to join in his task forces on Voter Education and Voter Registration.”
Becoming a New Party member requires some effort on behalf of the politician. Candidates must be approved by the party’s political committee and, once approved, must sign a contract mandating they will have a “visible and active relationship” with the party.
The New Party, established in 1992, took advantage of what was known as electoral “fusion,” which enabled candidates to run on two tickets simultaneously, attracting voters from both parties. But the New Party went defunct in 1998, one year after fusion was halted by the Supreme Court.
Following the initial reports of Obama’s purported membership in the New Party, Obama associate and former Chicago New Party activist Carl Davidson posted a statement on several blogs claiming his former party was not socialist, but he admitted it worked with ACORN.
“[The New Party] was a pragmatic party of ‘small d democracy’ mainly promoting economic reforms like the living wage and testing the fusion tactic, common in many countries but only operational in New York in the U.S. The main trend within it was ACORN, an Alinskyist outfit, which is hardly Marxist,” wrote Davidson.
But the socialist goals of the New Party were enumerated on its old website.
Among the New Party’s stated objectives were “full employment, a shorter work week, and a guaranteed minimum income for all adults; a universal ‘social wage’ to include such basic benefits as health care, child care, vacation time, and lifelong access to education and training; a systematic phase-in of comparable worth and like programs to ensure gender equity.”
The New Party stated it also sought “the democratization of our banking and financial system – including popular election of those charged with public stewardship of our banking system, worker-owner control over their pension assets, community-controlled alternative financial institutions.”
Many of the New Party’s founding members were Democratic Socialists for America leaders and members of Committees of Correspondence, a breakaway of the Communist Party USA. Obama attended several DSA events and meetings, including a DSA-sponsored town hall meeting Feb. 25, 1996, entitled “Employment and Survival in Urban America.” He sought and received an endorsement from the DSA.
According to DSA documents, the New Party worked with ACORN to promote its candidates. ACORN, convicted in massive, nationwide voter fraud cases, has been a point of controversy for Obama over the presidential candidate’s ties to the group.
In 1995, the DSA’s New Ground newsletter stated, “In Chicago, the New Party’s biggest asset and biggest liability is ACORN.
“Like most organizations, ACORN is a mixed bag. On one hand, in Chicago, ACORN is a group that attempts to organize some of the most depressed communities in the city. Chicago organizers for ACORN and organizers for SEIU Local 880 have been given modest monthly recruitment quotas for new New Party members. On the other hand, like most groups that depend on canvassing for fundraising, it’s easy enough to find burned out and disgruntled former employees. And ACORN has not had the reputation for being interested in coalition politics – until recently and, happily, not just within the New Party.”

Raising the tax rates on the salaries, dividends and capital gains of those making more than $200,000-$250,000, and phasing out their exemptions and deductions, can raise only a small fraction of the amount. Even if we have a strong economy, Mr. Obama’s proposed tax hikes on the dwindling ranks of high earners would be unlikely to raise much more than $30 billion-$35 billion a year by 2012.
Besides, Mr. Obama does not claim he can finance his ambitious plans for tax credits, health insurance, etc. by taxing the rich. On the contrary, he has an even less likely revenue source in mind.
In his acceptance speech at the Democratic convention on Aug. 28, Mr. Obama said, “I’ve laid out how I’ll pay for every dime — by closing corporate loopholes and tax havens.” That comment refers to $924.1 billion over 10 years from what the TPC wisely labels “unverifiable revenue raisers.” To put that huge figure in perspective, the Congressional Budget Office optimistically expects a total of $3.7 trillion from corporate taxes over that period. In other words, Mr. Obama is counting on increasing corporate tax collections by more than 25% simply by closing “loopholes” and complaining about foreign “tax havens.”
Nobody, including the Tax Policy Center, believes that is remotely feasible. And Mr. Obama’s dream of squeezing more revenue out of corporate profits, dividends and capital gains looks increasingly unbelievable now that profits are falling, banks have cut or eliminated dividends, and only a few short-sellers have any capital gains left to tax.

FORBES: Well, I think that’s a very good question. And I think that at least Senator McCain has proposed — it’s not very popular right now — reducing taxes on business. As you know, in the developed world, we have second worst taxes on business, which just complicates the tax code as people try to wiggle around it or find ways around it. And he also I think has come out foursquare for a simplified tax code, give people an alternative to the monstrosity that we have today. So in that sense (INAUDIBLE) R&D tax credit which will encourage investment. In that sense, it is long-term and not just on the immediate housing crisis.
VAN SUSTEREN: What about — I mean, there’s — I get a lot of e-mails from people. You bring up the issue of taxes. A lot of people want flat tax. A lot of people want a sales tax. I mean, is it coming to the time where we really sort of need to even look how we sort of tax things to run our government and to what extent that does stifle productivity or hurts families trying to put food on the table?
FORBES: Well, I think it’s going to be an issue, and I hope the next president, whoever it is — I hope it’s Senator McCain, but it may well be Senator Obama — will look at the tax code and recognize it’s the biggest dead weight on the American economy today.
When you consider the brain power, the hours that we put in, six billion hours a year filling out tax forms, all the corruption that it breeds in Washington — half the lobbying revolves around the tax code. This is a real dead weight, a real burden. And if we simplify the thing, slash the rate, give generous exemptions for adults and for children, this economy can roar ahead. Other countries have done it. Twenty-five have done it. We should be leading this instead of lagging it.

So I repeat, Obama never said it is based on gross revenue, the tax increase is based on net profits over 250K.

BTW..McCain’s plan is more geared towards what Ronald Reagan did instead of Bush’s. Reagan was in charge during the greatest peace time and economic growth this country has ever seen. He created over 20M jobs during his 8 years and the GDP grew substantially. He took over an Obama like regime in Jimmy Carter with 20% interest rates and an economy where people where had to get gas on odd or even days.

That the Los Angeles Public School District is in such
disarray that I felt it incumbent to send my child to
private school; that every time I go to the ATM, I see “do
you want to continue in English or Spanish?”; that every
time I call the bank, the phone company , or similar
business, I hear “press 1 for English or press 2 for
Spanish.” WHY? This is America, our common language is
English and attempts to promote a bi- or multi-lingual
society are sure to fail and to marginalize those who cannot
communicate in English.
I am outraged at our country’s weakness in the face of
new threats on American traditions from Muslims. Just this
week, Tyson’s Food negotiated with its union to permit
Muslims to have Eid-al-Fitr as a holiday instead of Labor
Day. What am I missing? Yes, there is a large Somali
Muslim population working at the Tyson’s plant in
Tennessee. Tennessee, last I checked, is still part of the
United States. If Muslim’s want to live and work here
they should be required to live and work by our American
Laws and not impose their will on our long history.
In the same week, Random House announced that they had
indefinitely delayed the publication of “The Jewel of
Medina,” by Sherry Jones, a book about the life of
Mohammed’s wife, A’isha due to fear of retribution and
violence by Muslims. When did we become a nation ruled by
fear of what other immigrant groups want? It makes me so
sad to see large corporations cave rather than stand proudly
on the principles that built this country.
I am outraged because appeasement has never worked as a
political policy, yet Appeasing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is
exactly what we are trying to do. An excellent article,
also published recently in the Wall Street Journal, went
through over 20 years of history and why talking with Iran
has been and will continue to be ineffective. Yet talk, with
a madman no less, we continue to do. Have we so lost our
moral compass and its ability to detect evil that we will
not go in and destroy Iran’s nuclear program? Would we
rather wait for another Holocaust for the Jews, one which
they would be unlikely to survive? When does it end?
As if the battle for good and evil isn’t enough, now come
the Environmentalists who are so afraid of global warming
that they want to put a bag tax on grocery bags in
California; to eliminate Mylar balloons; to establish
something as insidious as the recycle police in San
Francisco. I do my share for the environment I recycle,
I use water wisely, I installed an energy efficient air
conditioning unit.
But when and where does the lunacy stop? Ahmadinejad wants
to wipe Israel off the map, the California economy is being
overrun by illegal immigrants, and the United States of
America no longer knows right from wrong; good from evil. So
what does California do? Tax grocery bags.
So, America, although I can tell you where the outrage is,
this one middle-aged, well-educated, upper middle class
woman is powerless to do anything about it. I don’t even
feel like my vote counts because I am so outnumbered by
those who disagree with me.

The Pennsylvania Democrat who has sued Sen. Barack Obama demanding he prove his American citizenship – and therefore qualification to run for president – has confirmed he has a recording of a telephone call from the senator’s paternal grandmother confirming his birth in Kenya.
The issue of Obama’s birthplace, which he states is Honolulu in 1961, has been raised enough times that his campaign website has posted an image purporting to be of his “Certification of Live Birth” from Hawaii.
But Philip J. Berg, a former deputy attorney general
for Pennsylvania, told the Michael Savage talk radio program tonight that the document is forged and that he has a tape recording he will soon release.
“This has been a real sham he’s pulled off for the last 20 months,” Berg told Savage. “I’ll release it [the tape] in a day or two, affidavits from her talking to a certain person. I heard the tape. She was speaking [to someone] here in the United States.”
He said the telephone call was from Obama’s paternal grandmother affirming she “was in the delivery room in Kenya when he was born Aug. 4, 1961.”
Berg said he’s pursuing the issue because of “the most important document in the United States,” the U.S. Constitution.
“Nothing is more important than enforcing the Constitution,” he said. “The Constitution’s provisions are very small for qualifying for president. One, be over 35, and he is. Two, be in the country 14 years, and he has been. Three, be a natural-born citizen. He is not.”
Obama campaign officials acknowledged the dispute by posting the image purporting to be a copy of his certification of live birth earlier this year. But they’ve declined to return WND requests for comment on the issues.
WND reported earlier this week Berg’s claim that Obama has legally “admitted” the accusations included in his lawsuit, including that he was born in Mombosa, Kenya, by not responding to the allegations.
Berg filed suit in U.S. District Court in August alleging Obama is not a natural-born citizen and is thus ineligible to serve as president of the United States.
His lawsuit is demanding that the courts verify Obama’s original birth certificate.
Berg has cited Rule 36 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, which states that unless the accused party provides written answer or objection to charges within 30 days, the accused legally admits the matter.
Since Obama filed only motions to dismiss the case and did not actually answer the claims, according to Rule 36, Obama has legally admitted he is not a natural-born citizen., asserted Berg, who has taken his information public through his website.
Berg addressed the existence of a birth announcement in the Honolulu Advertiser newspaper, featured on the Atlasshrugs2000 website, that suggests Obama was born in the city Aug. 4, 1961.
But Berg explained to Savage he believes Obama’s mother was near the end of her pregnancy and unable to travel by plane, so Obama was born in Kenya. The family then traveled to Hawaii and registered the birth and submitted the newspaper announcement.
Besides Berg’s lawsuit, several other court challenges also have been filed, including one in Washington state where petitioners are seeking to have the Washington secretary of state “verify Obama’s eligibility” to serve prior to the election.
The claim states, “The ‘certificate’ that Mr. Obama has posted on his official Website is a ‘Certification of Live Birth,’ and not a ‘Birth Certificate’ from Hawaii. There is no indication on even this certificate as to specifically where the birth took place.”
Berg also told Savage there is no information available on which hospital Obama’s mother used in Hawaii.
The Washington state case also alleges, “Wayne Madsen, Journalist with Online Journal as a contributing writer and published an article on June 9, 2008, stating that a research team went to Mombassa, Kenya, and located a Certificate Registering the birth of Barack Obama, Jr. at a Kenya Maternity Hospital, to his father, a Kenyan citizen and his mother, a U.S. citizen.
When Jerome Corsi, senior WND investigator reporter, recently traveled to Kenya to investigate several questions about the candidate, he was told the records were sealed and would not be made available.
Though it hasn’t given Berg the evidence he seeks, the Obama campaign has publicly answered allegations that the candidate was born in Kenya and faked his Hawaii birth certificate.
“Smears claiming Barack Obama doesn’t have a birth certificate aren’t actually about that piece of paper,” says the “Fight the Smears” section of Obama’s website, “they’re about manipulating people into thinking Barack is not an American citizen.
“The truth is, Barack Obama was born in the state of Hawaii in 1961, a native citizen of the United States of America,” the campaign website states. It also includes images of the Hawaii certificate bearing the name Barack Hussein Obama II.
The Washington claim states, “If in fact Obama was born in Kenya, the laws on the books in the United States at the time of his birth stated if a child is born abroad and one parent was a U.S. Citizen, which would have been his mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, Obama’s mother would have had to live ten (10) years in the United States, five (5) of which were after the age of fourteen (14). At the time of Obama’s birth, his mother was only eighteen (18) and therefore did not meet the residency requirements under the law to give her son (Obama) U.S. Citizenship much less the status of ‘natural born.’”
Berg said he believed it also was a complication that Obama’s mother divorced his father, married and moved to Indonesia for several years and Obama attended school there at a time when, Berg said, only Indonesia citizens were allowed in schools. Records that are available from Indonesia revealed Obama was registered in school as Barry Soetoro, and his religion was listed as Islam.
When Obama later returned to Hawaii, within the United States, there should have been a government document affirming his citizenship, but that also cannot be found. If that was not processed properly, Berg said, Obama would be in a situation even worse than not being a natural-born citizen.
“If he didn’t go through immigration, he now is illegal and has been an illegal alien. He couldn’t even hold the position of senator for Illinois,” Berg said.
Further, Berg said he suspected Obama’s college records may indicate he received aid as a foreigner, and that’s why those records have been withheld by the campaign.
“I really think it’s because it probably indicates he’s from Kenya, or Indonesia, or received foreign aid,” Berg said.
“I feel very confident saying these things,” Berg told Savage.

Fact is, the Tax Policy Center pointed out the flaws in Obama’s plan. They crunched the numbers, btw, a non partisan group, and came up with the info that economist used in his article. The resounding point is, you have nothing to back up that Obama’s plan isn’t a redistribution of wealth and that he plans to tax on 250K gross NOT net.
