Can someone please help me out here….
Why is Sharon Stone even around. The chick crossed and uncrossed her legs in a 1980′s movie….that is the only thing she has ever done.
For that she gets to speak up on world issues? For that the National Enquiror and other tabloids constantly have their paparazzi trailing her?
This person is one of the most irrelevant people to ever come out of Hollywood (at least Sean Penn made a bunch of movies early in his career before becoming irrelevant…who can forget Spicoli?).
So why does the media give her an ounce of attention. SHE IS A NOBODY! Send her to Aruba!

There WAS a time when news was news and entertainment was entertainment. Our culture today sees no difference … publicity (i.e., being on TV) equals importance, it seems.
Anyone remember the days when television was called “the idiot box,” and parents used to make sure that kids read books, did homework, and took care of other stuff before watching TV?
Anyone remember, in fact, the days when TV watching was limited?
Welcome to our society today. Who needs science?
Who needs knowledge? The goal of every sane person today is to rave and rant over TV programs.
(I put movies in the same banal category.)
Great model we’re setting for our kids today.
I know, I know … easy for me to talk, since I don’t have a TV.
I seem to recall, after Katrina, people saying in various ways that God was showing America his displeasure. I have been waiting and listening for someone to tell us why Myranmar and China just lost tens of thousands more than America. While Sharon Stone didn’t say it as well as I would have liked, I now feel like America isn’t being singled out.
