Drew Peterson? Oh Dana, where are you going with this?
My Marriott rewards just sent me a 100.00 gift towards dining and 1 night hotel (trip to ARUBA), among other possible destinations.
I think the travel show demonstrations are cutting into Aruba tourism!
Marriott announcement:
Free Night + Taste of the Tropics
Aruba, Grand Cayman, St. Thomas, Cancún … enjoy a free night,
plus $100 for dining.
Choose from 9 resorts >>
Choose Grand Cayman or Cancun!
I think I will stick with Hawaii rather than those drug infested raping islands.
I have been seeing quite a few ads popping up recently for Aruba and when it dropped into my email today, it was quite surprising.
GREAT .WE MUST
..CONTINUE… TO BOYCOTT BOYCOTT
ARUBA
ITS GOING TO TURN INTO A FORM OF GILLIGANS ISLAND HAHAHAAAA
Great interview with Drew Peterson and Joel Brodsky. I haven’t heard the media discuss many facts in this case. Dana is a great interviewer. No games or manipulations.
I hope the Women in Crime Ink women will invite Stephanie Good to contribute. Sounds like it will be a great site. Will check it out.
Also, nice BOYCOTT ARUBA: ST. LOUIS piece
with LISA, DANA.

Lisa, I had to go watch the basketball game, so I’m posting late, but I listened to your interview and you rocked it. You sounded great. Your efforts for Natalee and the Holloways is not only above and beyond, but it sounds as if you’ve taught a few young people about standing up for what they believe in, for what’s true and right. You’ve done so much more than remind people in St. Louis that the police in Aruba cover for their own at the expense of tourists. The way I see it, you’ve hit 3 home runs. Or in hockeyspeak you got the hat trick!
IMO Kathleen Savio was a SAINT..fast tracked her divorce & dropped charges against DP for the sake of Stacey’s unborn child! ALSO Stacey was a SAINT who looked after Kathleen’s children as her own {at a very young age!} DP MURDERED BOTH!!!
NOW HE WAN’TS US TO THINK OF HIM COMPASSIONATELY?
{If at first you don’t succeed…try try try again..WELL he OVERSTEPPED the mark by marrying 4 times}…and now want’s to ?DATE AGAIN?…PURLEASE!!! WAKE UP ALL FEMALES WHO RESIDE IN AMERICA…DREWPY has a one way ticket to HELL..{I hope he gets there soon!!!}
Thank you Lilpuma and thank you Carpe!!
Time to pass the torch…
GO HOUSTON MONKEYS!!!!
You guys are awesome and Lisa is a sweetheart. Your dedication motivates people to want to do even more. Proud to be an American and stand up for justice. This will never fade away. Beth and Dave and Jug too, raised a beautiful child, someone we have all grown to love. And will continue to do so.
I want to believe that the decent people of Aruba want justice to be served also. But they have got to do something to make it happen. There are 100,000 people that can make a difference. So they are afraid….well with numbers that great you can protest in volume against your gov’t, they would stand to lose. Is it because of the environment of the ostrich farm….stick you head in the sand and do nothing….it’s high time we hear about wanting justice for Natalee,
Why do Arubans live in a vacuum? Cowards! Is it so frightening for those that want justice to come forward…are you going to go on living like wimps….OK watch your island destroy itself…with the help of the gov’t…those involved have got their money and you are left to fend for yourself..after they destroyed your island!!!!!!
Lisa,
Thank you for eloquently expressing what an honor and
heart-warming experience it is to stand up for Natalee.
Hey, Aruba,
We don’t care if you complain. We supporters aren’t going to these travel shows for YOUR pleasure.
We are attending to exercise our constitutional rights to peacefully assemble and stand up for justice.
This is the United States, where Natalee was born.
This isn’t Aruba, where she was killed and denied justice.
We have freedom of speech here and we will use it.
No matter what you do, we will smile, stand our ground, and remain united for Natalee.
NO JUSTICE FOR NATALEE
NO TOURISTS FOR ARUBA
Exactly, Brie! And JusticeforNatalee.
We owe Aruba NOTHING. We have NO obligation to go there, spend our money, risk our lives, and make their drug dealers wealthier.
In its actions and inactions, lies and evasions, in the Natalee Holloway case, Aruba has broken the social contract of tourism.
Those who stand up for Natalee are only demanding that the balance be righted … and that would-be travelers to Aruba be reminded of the risks they run.
Aruba’s economy is hurting? Tough … so is ours.
Let’s see those “innocent average Arubans” demand justice from THEIR government. Because we sure as hell won’t be giving up.
Your choice, Aruba. Don’t look to me for pity.
13. Brie. I do think they are afraid. Those in power can make sure they don’t have jobs, get arrested, become victims of various crimes, they can threaten their families. I don’t think they know what to do to fight the corruption and injustice when the power players run everything, from the government, legal system, businesses, and most likely even the illegal businesses. They need a leader. Sort of a Nelson Mandela. I always think of Aruba like one of those “company” towns in movies where the company runs the show and no one dares challenge them. Didn’t one of the Kalpoes say that “they” could kill them? I don’t remember the quote.
17. Richard. “Aruba has broken the social contract of tourism.” This sums it up.
