The following are comments that I received today from Jossy Mansur, Managing Editor of Diario. It would seem that Aruba has grown sick and tired of Joran Van der Sloot and his actions. Although they are late to the game, they now do not believe Joran Van der Sloot’s story or his excuses. Joran is no longer welcome in Aruba. It’s about time that Aruba stopped running cover for Joran. Then there is the following confirmation regarding a man who claims he found a telephone behind the lighthouse in 2005. The walls are caving in around Joran Van der Sloot and his family.
Everything is happening in Holland. The Dutch government is now interested in the case and plans to do something about it, we were informed from Holland. Joran was interrogated for more than two hours by the dutch national police and three policemen from Aruba. We still have to hear what came out of that.
The Minister of Justice declared Joran ‘persona non grata’ (unwelcome) in Aruba. He also said he is kicking Paulus off every government committee in which he has a seat (hospital, prison, etc.). Late, but proof of the change of attitude noticeable everywhere on the island. Most people here are convinced Joran is responsible for Natalee’s death.
The people here are really fed-up with that character. The worst that could have happened to him is the video recording made by De Vries. No one believes his story about being under the influence of marijuana because he never stuttered, never hesitated, his eyes didn’t become vague or unfocused, he was in complete command of himself all the time. He could have used it as an excuse had it not been shown in its entirety (in Dutch) and was seen and heard in Aruba by practically everyone.
Voices are now being raised to kick him and his family off the island. Others want the U.S. to extradite him. Things are moving fast on that level, but on the official level we find the prosecution still pussy-footing with it.
A man claims he found a telephone behind the lighthouse in 2005; it was broken; he fixed it and dialed a person with the phone, so his story goes. The person apparently answered and said that that number belonged to Paulus Van der Sloot. The man is now giving testimony to the police. Late, but still important enough to be taken into consideration.

Slowly, the Aruban people are rising up. They now see the Truth. They will pursue Joran to the earth’s end. They see he is a racist as he first implicated the two black security gurads, and more recently implicated the Aruban Daury. He has

Regarding the story now being circulated about a man finding Paulus’ phone near the lighthouse… if the story is true, could Paulus losing his phone be the reason why the van der sloots have been saying Paulus was using Anita’s phone that night?
I’ve been studying what Joran is saying to

Dutch version & the ABC version. They withheld a

Broken cell phone is a bit strange. It would have to have been recharged for one thing. What happened to the cell phone? I saw somewhere else that the person said it was returned to Paulus. Why would they do that?

Regarding extradition……we have a little Jet Steam available to move the whole bunch of Sloots. I’ll even donate 50 gallons of fuel, that ought to be just about right to clear the outter reefs on the north side. I am still waiting for a formal apology from Aruba to Beth about threating to stop the so called investigation. I did not appreciate the protesters against her either. Now you tell me you are getting Paulus out of the government when he should have been out while the investigation was ongoing.

Joran says he just called some one and disposed of Natalee. “I have been lucky that she has not been found.” To me that is not the water. That is the landfill that waterboy talks about. There is that restuarant he keeps bringing up and the dumpsters in the area. Again don’t jump on me Joran said it first. They may have placed her in a dumpster and waited for the pickup and she was taken to the land fill where there are “oceans and oceans” of trash. Waterboy may be right about the party at the or near the lighthouse. Could all this be revealed because of Paulus’ cellphone? Anyone know the name of the company that serviced that area.
BTW they say they are removing Paulus from all committes he is on. I would like to see that list.

In the very begining when Deepak said.. “something bad happened” didn’t he say that they had gone to the lighthouse. Then someone said there was a guard there and he never saw them there. So everyone just said ok they weren’t there. But Joran also says that “we did not go there because Deepak’s car is too low. That doesn’t mean that they did not park the car at some distance and then walk to where …whatever bad happend.
it is crystal clear that joran was not lying in the video I have the proof.
When Joran was a small boy, maybe 5 or 6 years old, Paulus sold him to space aliens for a thousand dollars.
The aliens took Joran to their space ship, poked, prodded, took samples, and concluded that they had been cheated, because Joran had no soul. Under the lemon law, they took him back to Paulus and demanded their money back.
No way was Paulus going to take Joran back easy. He struck a deal with the space aliens in which they paid Paulus to take Joran.
Part of the deal was that the aliens got Anita. After a few days, the fun of torturing her wore off, and since she was too ugly to have sex with (which is what she wanted), they took her back to Paulus.
Paulus told them no, and a discussion aimed at reaching an agreement commenced. In the end, they once again paid Paulus to take his family member back.
He tried to get the aliens to take his two younger sons, but by this time the aliens had learned their lesson, and knew they would be treated more fairly buying lost souls from the Devil.

Yep, you got that right. Joran could easily talk his way out of a rape case. However, how Natalee got strangled, beat up, and shot would be a little difficult to blame on Natalee.
Answer this. If Natalee were dropped at sea by someone else, or Joran himself, how would he know he had gotten lucky? I’m thinking by lucky, that he knew they were close to finding her body at some point. If she were at sea, how would he know?

Everyone please understand Jossy and his newspaper are not credible . The paper is like the Star or National Enquire in the States they make up the news. Jossy blasted govt officials a few days after Natalee went missing for suggesting that Vanderstratten the original police investigator should be removed. Govt officials wanted Vanderstratten removed and Jossy created an uproar and claimed the investigation was going perfect.

Strange… Both Deepak had mentioned “something bad happened” and then also, on the tape with Patrick and Joran, Joran tells Patrick when he called Duary for help (probably Paulus really) he said “something bad happened”….
Also cell phone update is strange…how could phone be broke but yet this person calls Paulus… He fixed it and dialed up Paulua….
During Jorans conversation with Patrick he mentions “it did not even bother me” referring to Natalee’s death. Cold killer…

Yes, I have speculated that a private party was held at the restaurant near the lighthouse. The restaurant was the residence of the light-keeper at one time, and there is a tunnel that use to run from the restaurant to the lighthouse (this probable has no significance). There is also a boat ramp down from the restaurant.
What is interesting is that there are large birds in cages at the restaurant on the patio (I saw a picture somewhere, 8 or 9 foot fence). This may be the sound that sounded like a monkey. Maybe the call Natalee made was made from Paulus’s cell phone as she ran over the rough terrain in that area. The rock videos were made very near. 1906 or Carpe once had a satellite picture with the rocks marked.
That Joran and the 2 Ks were seen by the Gardner is a documented fact, but what they were doing. I don’t know unless they put Natalee’s body in a dumpster and waited for the trash truck to pick it up. There is a dumpster near the lighthouse also.
To me, the only credible (sort of) witness in this whole mess in Junior. He said the saw Joran, Paulus, and others burying a body at the landfill. This makes no sense to me. However, if they were looking for a body, this would make sense.
Junior is a likable guy. It has been said he is a crack-head. I don’t know. I can’t tell. He was sincerely trying to help. Dave Holloway believed him. I don’t know if he still does.

I’ve gone a hundred directions, but does anyone remember my post about spending 2 weeks in the lighthouse with 20 gallons of water, a good pair of Leica binoculars, a ribeye steak cooked over mesquite, and water from Minnesota—just curious?
Anyway, I talked about observing what is going on in the area, night and day as related to the case.
As I read the post; and it sounded like the ramblings of a stoned or drunk man; but since I do neither, I posted it.

Off and on since last Sunday, the names of Peter Van De Vries and Patrick Van Der Eem keep coming to mind. Thank God the world still has in it some people who are courageous and (as Spike Lee was famous for the buzz phrase) and good people who still believe…you gotta “DO THE RIGHT THING”. Those two men are now partly responsible for keeping this case from going cold forever.

Don’t think I don’t want the search team of the Persistence to find Natalee. I would very humbly welcome this. However, a long time ago, I statistically analyzed the probabilities, and the highest probability is that Natalee is in the landfill, followed by buried at sea, followed by buried with another body or cremated.

What’s really creepy about hearing this anecdote about the lighthouse (the California lighthouse, I presume), is that … although we don’t know so far if there is any truth in this … just like the talk about Joran’s being on the beach with Natalee when she met her fate …
it brings us back to the very early days of this saga, when we heard about these places. Somewhere around a year ago, it became ‘conventional wisdom’ to believe that they never did, in fact, go to the California lighthouse or beach.
Didn’t Deepak testify that they dropped Joran and Natalee off at the van der Sloot compound?
Now, suddenly, we’re revisiting the early stages of the stories that everyone was predisposed to doubt. Almost like the eternal cycle of creation and destruction, in a way.
Once again, is Joran taking refuge in recycling older reports? I don’t know.
As for pushing PvdS off committees … wow, what a massive step towards finding answers and punishing the guilty!
As usual, Aruba doesn’t care about justice for Natalee … it wants to sweep things under the rug. Just like that new Caribbean tourism committee that has, as its mission in life, the goal of promoting pan-Caribbean tourism … without having to mention Aruba.
Boycott Aruba as though your life were on the line.
I asked this on an earlier thread, but I’ll ask it again … since Aruba has already said that PvdS is no longer a suspect, why is it so interested in removing him from committees?
In my opinion, if the persistence fails then i do belive there should be another land search. The well that jerry is talking about and joran had mentioned in his confession should be looked at closely, and the land fill again as well. Also i hope everyone who possibly can, and will, throw some money to the Holloway search. I believe we need to promote this as much as possible. I myself and contributing 100 bucks its not much but with everyones support we can turn the small amounts into very large amounts rather quickly. Thanks, Dan,….

In that case there is no body anymore! Since he talks about it in the present time I think she wasn’t dumped in the ocean. And why would he be in deep shit if they find the body now? Did he burried his shoes with her?
28: it would make sense to make sure the body is covered. The truck picks up the dumpster discharges the contents of the container at the landfile and drives off. Someone then enters the landfile to make sure the body is covered.
This way they never get caught transporting a body. Some one else did. Kalpoes: if they find the girl….. Joran I have been lucky so far…..

When you have someone like Paulus with some really bad character deficiencies, that person can get by on committees, chamber of commerce, hospital board, etc.; but when you start putting a spotlight on that person, people start asking why. Most of those boards etc. are more or less self-appointments, and Paulus has just been “blackballed”. Plus, I’m sure the members of those boards know more than we do. I wouldn’t want Paulus on any board I was on.

Yes, someone is going to dicipher this riddle. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – Joran is reading what people say about this mystery he made and he not going to sit by and not join in with clues. It’s HIS party! He is not going to not play in solving this mystery.
Joran reads and some things people suggest make him laugh, some things probably make him want to challenge a person who might get too close to his truth. Other times he will propose complete lies just to laugh and other times he will drop hints about the truth.
But someone is going to dicpher his game.

I caught that too – if Natalee was in the ocean, that semen Joran speaks about would be long gone and her body if found only skeleton or body parts. So where is really? On land. Remember when they first announced one guy had confessed and Natalee was dead and they were taking the parents to the body? That would have to mean buried on land. Then they retracted the story.
