Dana and other police officers hate having to call the next of kin, so heed his warning to not drink and drive.
Orangutans are losing the battle against the destruction of their habitat. I just read about forest fires in Indonesia and as the orangutans ran out of the forest to escape, villagers were beating them. In came IFAW, trying to rescue those that didn’t die in the ordeal. Black marketers will kill the mother orangutan and pull the baby clinging to her away and keep it in a cage until they can sell it. Very sad. Orangutans, like gorillas, are gentle, shy creatures. Dana, when you started to compare Orangutans to your relatives, I thought you were going to compare them to Red. Just their hair color, Red. That’s all I was thinking of.
