Rosie O’Donnell on MSNBC? Must “Seeth”TV … What a Joke! (Update: No Rosie NSNBC Show)
Rosie O’Donnell on MSNBC as a week night talk show host? That’s the scoop. What is NBC thinking? A comedian on a news talk network. Is it any wonder why MSNBC has become nothing more than a third rate network joke. MSNBC is going to have as a news talk show host a woman who believes that World Trade Center Seven was imploded by controlled demolition and that 911 inside job. What a joke …
MSNBC’s new nightly slogan … “Must See Liberal TV”. I believe that all points of view should be allowed and offered to the public. However, “mean” is not a point of view. With the staying power that Rosie has shown in the past, let us make a prediction. She will get the gig, she will be the liberal darling media sensation and then flame out like she has down so often in the past taking what was left of MSNBC down with her.
O’Donnell might get the 9 p.m. slot that would put her up against Fox News Channel’s “Hannity & Colmes” and CNN’s “Larry King Live.”
News of the talks was first reported in the New York Times.
“It’s far from a done deal,” said an executive familiar with some of the discussions. Money apparently is one of the sticking points.
Ankle Biting Pundits asks two very good questions if Rosie is hired by MSNBC:
-
If this happens shouldn’t they just change the name of the network to “The Moonbat Station”?
-
Perhaps MSNBC would also let Rosie moderate a debate and insist, like they do with Olbermann, that she is a “journalist”.
Cable Channel Nods to Ratings and Leans Left
But even without Ms. O’Donnell, MSNBC already presents a three-hour block of nighttime talk — Chris Matthews’s “Hardball” at 7, Mr. Olbermann at 8, and “Live With Dan Abrams” at 9 — in which the White House takes a regular beating. The one early-evening program on MSNBC that is often most sympathetic to the administration, “Tucker” with Tucker Carlson at 6 p.m., is in real danger of being canceled, said one NBC executive, who, like those who spoke of Ms. O’Donnell, would do so only on condition of anonymity.

Years ago I used to enjoy MSNBC when John Gibson, Patti Ann Brown, Linda Vester and a few others were on it. It really went downhill afterwards. They just keep getting worse and who wants to watch all those re re re re re re runs on that channel. Rosie would fit right in. Just a matter of time before she sticks her foot in her mouth again and is gone. After she said the Tower was an inside job, forget it.
ROSIE O’DOOGLE’S HEAD IS BIGGER THAN MY TV SCREEN! WHAT A SLOB !
Can ANYONE explain why ANYONE would want to see or listen to Rosie O’Donnell?
There used to be a time when some form of talent was required to have a TV series. I don’t watch TV much, and have never seen any of her shows.
But from what I have heard, she has no appeal at all. Zilch. Zero. Absolutely NONE.
I can not watch rosie. Let me add, I can’t stand to listen to her loud mouth.
