Iggy should be returned to Ellen’s hairdresser and children. Iggy was going to be adopted out again anyways and all the adoption center (mutts and moms) had to do was have the new family (Ellen’s hairdresser and daughters) adopt Iggy to make the transaction binding with them. Do the right thing and return Iggy to the hairdresser’s family.

The attorney for the shelter where Ellen adopted Iggy said that the hairdresser’s family refused to fill out the usual forms and go through the adoption process required by the shelter. They then started getting letters from Ellen’s “people” threatening lawsuits and a negative media campaign. He indicated that there’s a “star” mentality in LA whereby some don’t feel they have to play by the rules. Since the family wouldn’t go through the normal adoption approval process, they adopted Iggy out to someone else.

I do agree that Ellen’s sensitivity and compassion in this case was unusual for many big stars. She never displayed the arrogance and anger that towards them, only sorrow over her own mistake and the broken hearts of the children who loved the puppy.
