I don’t know what Howard Stern has to gain by demanding a retraction of Rita Cosby’s statements by Dana. Dana allowed his guest to state the facts according to her research. Right or wrong, Dana can’t confirm or deny the statements of Rita Cosby or Howard Stern’s attorney.
Discouraging that there’s still no word from the Dutch investigation into Natalee’s disappearance, but it’s always good to hear from Jossy.
Dana … my speaker is not working so I missed your show. SIGH (big sigh)
Monkeys in the cage provided updates which were very much appreciated but …
I understand that there is a means that will allow me to listen to the broadcast later.
Thanks Dana

TWITTY: Well, you know, I‘ll be forever grateful for Jossy Mansur, who is there. And he has been so instrumental. And he‘s just a hero to all of us. And, you know, he‘s my only hope on the island. And we‘ll be forever grateful to him.

HOLLOWAY: Jossy has been very helpful to try to find the truth, the fact he lives in Aruba and publishes a newspaper, they’re attacking him because he’s looking for– fighting for– the truth. That’s what a good journalist does–He’s going to go after the people, regardless, and try to find the truth

Comment #20 … I think he is a good man looking for the truth. He will not let them push him around. This is his home and is probably sick of the corruption that happens every day on such a large scale on such a small island.

Just listened to the radioshow. It’s good to hear from Jossy again; he’s so down to earth!
I’m shocked to hear that apparently so little is going on in the investigation now. My thought was that there were a number of officers busy with it all the time.
I can only guess that maybe they trie a different approach: putting the Aruban criminal scene under constant pressure – as we’ve seen the last couple of months – in the hope that things will come out or somebody starts to talk.
Else I don’t know….
As I said before, I don’t assume that any information we are given is accurate. That includes from the Dutch (no offense, Robert).
We were told that the Dutch don’t talk about what they’re doing. So what in hell ARE they doing and what HAVE they done?
Sent people over, more than two years “after the fact,” to check the van der Sloot and Kalpoe homes and yards. How original; how innovative.
Oh, yes, and they took a stroll over to the California lighthouse, probably to admire the view. I’m not sure if they were calling people in for re-interviews or not ….
Meanwhile, is Joran still waltzing around in the Netherlands? Or was he kicked out of school, or is he back in Aruba? Doesn’t seem like anybody is following his movements anymore ….
I never thought the Aruban “team” that was “continuing” the investigation was doing anything except, perhaps, making sure that the cover-up was still intact. I gave more credence to the Dutch, but my guess now is that what I said before will happen: they won’t say the case is closed, they’ll keep it open in name and do nothing. Not even the obvious: grill van der Scum on his many lies.
My speaker is now responding. It works very well if you turn it on. LOL
Jossy does tell it how it is! He makes it clear that Aruba need to comprehend that the focus of blame should be directed at the lying suspects for any negative publicity that Aruba is receiving in regards to the Natalee Holloway case … not the American media … not an anguished mother seeking answers and justice.
Thanks again Dana and …
Happy Thanksgiving from a fellow Canadian.
Janet
I just found out (on another website!) that it’s Canada’s Thanksgiving this weekend. I’d like to wish them all a great weekend and express a big ol’ American thank you for being good neighbors and great people.
