My guess is Howard Stern doesn’t like things Rita Cosby said, but regardless, this reminds me of Tacopina insinuating during an infamous rant that he would sue Fox News for allowing Jossy to speak. If Chavez and Ahmadinejad can speak in this country, certainly Dana’s guests can. Seems there are some who would like to tell the media what can and can’t be said on air, which doesn’t sound very free, consitutional or American to me.

      Dana,
I have never noticed if you read a disclaimer on every show or not. Would this suffice? What I mean is something to the effect that the thoughts and opinions expressed by the guests are not necessarily those of the commentator.

Welcome to the world of our liberal-controlled media! And I wouldn’t count on any help from such bogus organizations as the ACLU as they support this kind of censorship.

Does this mean you have to hire a U.S. attorney to file a response for you?

I am so sorry this has happened but not really surprised given the climate in this country right now. It’s only going to get worse as long as we have a far-left congress in charge, too.

I tried to explain it best in the commentary, I will have more to say about it next week as I am weighing my options. It is a huge freedom of speech issue but even stranger is the demand for me to retract something my guest said.
Its truly a Davis vs Goliath issue and Im hoping some media outlets will pick it up and take the fancy lawyer and his client to task a little.
I will have more to say about this very very soon.

[...] Did anyone notice how Debra Opri sued Larry Birkhead and not Larry King for the comments made by Birkhead on Larry King Live. What a novel concept to go after the one who said the comments, not the messenger. [...]
