Hollywood Injustice: Phil Spector Case … Hung Jury … Mistrial, DA States there Will be Retrial
Another case of Hollywood Injustice …
If it’s a Los Angeles jury and a celebrity murder case, then it must be another clueless hung jury. Such was the case once again in the Phil Spector murder case. the 67 year old Phil Spector was accused of shooting 40-year-old actress Lana Clarkson. It may finally be time to have potential jurors to take IQ tests prior to serving on juries.
Once again we have been witness to a judicial system that has a severe flaw when it comes to celebrities. The celebrity defence of Spector and alike is the best that money can buy. When it comes to celebrities, justice is not blind … its all about the dollars.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler declared a mistrial after jurors told him they were deadlocked, 10-2. KNBC’s Doug Kriegel reported that the 10-2 split was in favor of conviction.
“At this time, I will find that the jury is unable to arrive at a verdict and declare a mistrial in this matter,” the judge said. (KNBC)
Prosecutors have stated that they will retry Phil Spector. What are they chances that they can find a jury
Less than two hours after the mistrial was announced, prosecutors said that they will retry Spector, according to Sandi Gibbons of the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
“We’re disappointed that the jury was unable to reach a verdict in this case, and we will begin immediately to prepare for the retrial,” Gibbons said.

Let me guess…they found 2 of O.J.’s jurors?
Those 2 probably figured out that Phil Spector took the blame, like OJ, and once again OJ’s son did it.
Oh, I see above we have people joking about this serious matter.
Phil Spector is/was a musical genius. Often, when a musical style is no longer as popular as it once was, the person goes into seclusion. Even Elvis went into seclusion musically between the 50s and his 1968 return to popularity.
A genius lives on the razor’s edge between craziness and sanity. I believe this is what happened to Phil as he got older and the musical world changed from the “Wall of Sound” to more simple and also to more complicated music.
Whether he is guilty or not, how about we discuss the Spector case and not inject OJ into it.
A fixed jury? payoff? certainly sounds like it. This guy was a killer.
They need to carefully check the bank account of juror #10
# 3, Wasn’t there an OJ question that was asked?
