How Misguided Can Hollywood Get? Actor Kevin Spacey Meets with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez

How misguided can Hollywood celebrities be?Chavez_Spacey

“The Usual Suspects” from Hollywood are once again making their pilgrimage to Venezuela to meet with  President Hugo Chavez. This time its actor Kevin Spacey. So much for Hollywood caring about those rights of the citizens of Venezuela. It is simply amazing how Hollywood can rail on President George W. Bush, but some how Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is a hero. Maybe Spacey and company would feel a little different if they mingled with the little people … rather than dictators. It is stunning and hypocritical that Hollywood celebs can over look the poverty and treatment of others.

Chavez has said Venezuela hopes to produce its own films as an alternative to the “cultural imperialism” of Hollywood. Yet, Chavez speaks highly of some Hollywood films.

He has also hosted recent visits by stars including Sean Penn and Danny Glover. (Yahoo News)

I guess they left Kevin Spacey out of the movie Team America: World Police. Maybe Spacey will play the president of the Film Actors Guild if there is a part II.

This only goes to show the masses how far from reality these Hollywood Elite are.

Hey, there is truth to the saying “Birds of a Feather”

Hey didn’t Sean beat Madonna up a few times? Yeah, I am seeing a connection with the birds.

Someone should start a website called sickofhollywood.com and keep track of these “actors” that think their work gives them a “voice” for their opinion. Penn is #1 on my list of “will never pay to see again”. The list is growing and Spacey is now on it. Its a shame because they are good actors, but they make me sick.

What is wrong with an American meeting Hugo Chavez???
      How is this “Misguided”?
Hugo Chavez offered the poor people of the United States practically free gasoline for a year.
He has been named Times magazines most influential person in both 2005 and 2006.
He has done no wrong to the United States. Despite constant threats from our United States dictator.

Based on what he has done in Venezuela, the poor/ lower middle class here in the US would have benefited immensely if he was president of the United States.

Sahara, I have basically quit watching most new movies. I watch a few. Richard Gere was recently in another country once again bashing this one. They are the ones spreading much of the hatred towards our country and people. They come here and work a little and make a fortune off of us who pay to watch. Seriously, what actor is worth 15 or 20 million for 2 or 3 months work on a picture? Then they travel around to complain, all the way to bank. Much like the global warming and green programs and they are the biggest abusers of it while telling us how to save and donate money. Such a disconnect between them and reality.

      Times magazine….

      LMAO!!!!

Who better than a bunch of Jews to profit from the marketing of Christians. Perhaps, we are in
a holy war. It seems that we are being attacked
at every side, even our own.

      .

      Stephen: Here’s a question for you…

How do over 800,000 people a year, simply, vanish?

      .

      And for those that wonder…

Yes, Venezuella is an Arawok nation.

Greater majority of Hollywood have never served one day in the military. Very very very few.

Personally I’m not violent. But for once I’d love to get into a boxing ring with Sean Penn for a 10 rounder.

I dont know why these actors dont move to Venezuela and live like poor people for a month or two before coming to support this miserable government that is killing more people in streets and hospitals than the Irak conflict.
In venezuela, people dye like animals in hospitals, children are looking like africans, starving to death and the crime rate is the highest ever! I dont know why these actors dont stay in front of their fancy cameras instead of supporting this murderer and comunist!

      Sleeping with the enemy…
It reminds me of being in love with an abusive partner, you think the more loving or comprimising you are that in time they will change. Guess what it doesn’t happen! you are lucky if you get out alive. The lack of American unity and the constant undermining of our own has only accomplished empowering fanatic dictators around the world. Freedom of speech and stupidity comes with a price Hollywood and you’ll be paying with the rest of us, only you have more to lose.

The sad thing is that even if Kevin Spacey would move among the little people, they would still sing the praises of their “President”.

      Blech.
