Two Students Shot at Delaware State University … School in Lock Down
Delaware State University is in lock down mode this morning and all classes are cancelled after two students were shot over night on campus. No one is being allowed on campus except essential personnel and students are being asked to stay in their dorm rooms as police search for the suspect. It would seem that there have been some well learned lessons from the Virginia Tech tragedy.
A male student who was shot is in stable condition, the university said in a statement, and a female student’s condition is “considered serious.”
“I think he’s out of danger,” university spokesman Carlos Holmes told reporters Friday. “I can’t say the same thing for the female student.” (CNN)
UPDATE I: The students were shot near Memorial Hall around 1 a.m., the news release said

Seems to me that it is even safer to go on a cruise today then go to school. SAD !
school is still safer than aruba, and so far none of the schools involved have spent millions of dollars trying to convince the world that “nothing happened, she just vanished”.
