RSSPhilly Lawyer Larry Charles Pleads “No Contest” in Sexual Assault of a 14 Year Old Girl in a City Courthouse
The charges and plea of no contest in the sexual assault of a 14 year old girl by defense attorney Larry Charles are yet just another reason why defense attorneys find themselves so far down on the totem pole of respect. 50 year old Larry Charles pleaded “no contest” in the sexual assault of a 14 year old girl in a Philadelphia court house. However, that just seems to be the tip of the iceberg as usually is the case with a sex offender. Since his arrest five other girls ranging in ages of 5 to 10 have come forward stating they were sexually assaulted as well.
After his arrest, five other girls came forward and testified that Charles assaulted them. Some of the girls testified they were assaulted multiple times over several years.
The girls — who were ages 5 to 10 at the time of the alleged attacks and are now ages 11 to 17 — testified the encounters occurred in motels, Charles’ office, on the street while trick-or-treating at Halloween, and in the lounge and a court anteroom.
Charles was charged in those cases with multiple counts of rape, sexual assault, corruption of a minor and other charges. He pleaded no contest to all the counts.

You gotta be kidding me.
Because this one man who committed these horrific acts happens to be a defense attorney, now all defense attorneys are considered child molesters? What a joke. How far down are Ministers? How far down are Police Officers? How far down are Firefighters? Or for that matter how far down are…or never mind – it would just be too silly to continue on.

Isn’t the only reason for this posting to insunuate defense lawyers are child molesters? I certainly cannot think of any other reason. Maybe you can “enlighten” us.

No that is not the reason for the post. People think defense attys are bottom feeders, and for the most part … they are.
If you cannot see the issue with an officer of the court committing the same act of assault that he most likely defends clients for ,,, then you are missing the point.
To add one more issue to attys negatives is like icing on sundae.

YoYo sounds like he’s trying to deflect a little guilt himself. Left wing nuts are known to try and project their crimes onto others. They’ve learned a lot about crime in the past few years from the Clintons. Now if they could all manage too accumulate $50 to $150 million in eight years while on a $200K per year Salary the would catch up with the Klingtons. That must be some interest bearing account they have.

I too had not only got stiffed by obyaing this disturbed man in two different cases (one being traffic)…but the time it came for me to take him to the bar assoc.he was in the news…all could do is shake my head
