Another WWE Wrestler Dead, Brian “Crush” Adams
Another one bites the dust in the world of WWE wrestling. This time Brian “Crush” Adams is found dead at the age of 44. Authorities were awaiting autopsy results from the medical examiner before proceeding with their investigation. This wrestling death coming less than two months after the horrific murder/suicide of Chris Benoit and his family. Just another death connection to the WWE and their continual denial that any thing was ever going on with steroids or other performance enhancing drugs. Past and current wrestlers are dying awfully young.
According to a Tampa Police Department report, Adams “was found by his wife unconscious in bed and not breathing. She called 911 and Fire Rescue responded. Fire Rescue could not revive him and he was declared dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner’s Office responded and transported the body to their office to be examined. The cause of death is unknown at this time. There were no visible signs of injuries.” (ET)

With 3 little words I’ll venture a guess at the cause of death: anabolic steroid abuse. Whether the medical examiner chooses to reveal this is another matter. Probably the autopsy report will read that he died of an acute myocardial infarction as to not further sully the wrestlers name. While this is a good thing with regards to respecting the feelings of his immediate family, it also masks the danger and risks inherent in such abuse.
My condolences to another family.
Doesn’t every person have the responsiblity to be accountable for their own actions – ie. use of steroids?
my condolences to Bryan Adams family. Mr. Adamas was one of my favorite wrestlers! My son and I met him about 25 years ago and he seemed like an extremely nice person, in fact, I shed a few tears for him when I heard the news. Rest in peace Mr. Adams
My condolences to the family of Bryan Adams and his fans. He will truly be missed!
Before we jump on the steroid bandwagon, can we please wait to hear what is reported about the autopsy, PLEASE. Everyone was so sure that that’s what made Benoit go nuts and kill his wife and son, only later to be revealed that no anabolic steroids were found in his system. Another tragedy, no doubt!

I couldn’t have said it better. Just because he was a wrestler so many want to automatically link his death to steriods.
He was a living breathing human being with a wife and young sons he adored.
My heart and prayers go out to his family.
I knew brian. He was a good man. We were stationed at Yokota AB together. He was honest, humble and easy going. His characters in wrestling were just that, CHARACTERS. RIP Airman
