Michael Vick, Another Dog Day Afternoon … Two More Co-Defendants to Cop Pleas
It just went from bad to worse for Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Vick. Its a dog eat dog world and Michael Vick is wearing dog bone clothes. Two more co-defendants who initially pleaded not guilty will later this week plead guilty according to reports. The pressure is being put squarley on Michael Vick by prosecutors. At this point, two 300 pound lineman baring down on Vick from his blind side is a better situation than what Vick presently faces.
Purnell Peace, 35, is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday and Quanis Phillips, 28, is scheduled for Friday.
The trial date for all three co-defendants is currently set for November 26 in Richmond, Virginia, where court documents say the dog fighting operation was located.
A fourth defendant, Tony Taylor, 34, struck a plea deal July 30 and agreed to cooperate with the prosecution. His sentencing is scheduled for December 14 and could land him five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised probation.
All four of the men, including Vick, were charged on July 17 with conspiracy to travel in interstate commerce in aid of unlawful activities, and conspiring to sponsor a dog in an animal fighting venture. (CNN)

Anyone see a pattern here? First his brother, now mr. vick himself. Talk about dumb. Such fame and fortune lost over some f’ing pit bull dogs. The Vicks and the breed should be sacked for good. What an idiot! Note to future NFL owners, screen your recruits. One look at this guy,it’s like you could see it comming.

Red,
Vick may still have this problem in prison, only I don’t think they are called “linemen”.
Looks like his co-defendants will have a lot to say about vick. Too bad Vick can’t face what he made those dogs face on a daily basis. What an idiot, had opportunity of a life time, could make a difference in his community, and decides to abuse animals. What a guy. I don’t think his high priced lawyers can protect him, those co-defendants are not going to take all the punishment.
