Texas EquuSearch Helps Search for Missing Stepha Henry
This just in to Scared Monkeys, Tim Miller and TexasEquusearch are on the ground running and searching for missing Stepha Henry in Florida. Stephs Henry has been missing since May 29, 2007. If it seems like TES has been quiet, they have just been doing searches not in the media eye. As we always say at Scared Monkeys, just because the media does not cover it, does not make it less important or that it is not news.
Tim Miller stated that the family of Stepha Miller asked us if we could not help bring their daughter home. Tim stated, “that law enforcement has been extremely cooperative in mapping a plan of action to search for Stepha”. We just want to bring Stepha home to her family, said Tim Miller”. Why over a month later? Several have been critical of ALE for waiting over 48 hours to declare Nat missing (while a 48 hour wait is commom in virtually every US jurisdiction).
Seems to me response time could have been quicker.
_______________
SM: TES cannot search for a missing person until the FAMILY requests it. TES is not LE. (klaasend)

What are you trying to say here?
We already know Aruba policemen have a problem with corruption that has nothing to do with 48 hour declaration.
I don’t know who criticized that tho.
…back to Stepha Henry… coz that is after all…
the friggin THREAD!
She’s always on my brain.
It is pretty much impossible for someone to just
dematerialize off the face of the planet. Someone
KNOWS something, probably MULTIPLE people, and they
need to TALK!
*It also stands out to me, that last pic of her, where
they are filming at Pepper’s Nightclub.
She doesn’t look comfortable to me, like perhaps she is
not having a good time… or not enjoying the person/people
she’s hangin’ out with. Why is this?
Is it just me reading to much into her photo?
I saw her momma on the NG (CNN HN) Show tonight.
I pray her family get the answers
they so rightfully
deserve!
I’ve been following this story on the news. My thoughts and prayers to this family and to Texas Equusearch in hopes they find answers for this family. Beautiful girl with her whole life in front of her.
How many members does Texas Equusearch have? Will the Florida search set back the timetable for the search of Aruban waters (something that, in my opinion, is the JOB of the Arubans and the Dutch, not that we’re likely to get anything from them)?
Needless to say, I’m not trying to rank one missing-person case as more important than another, just wondering about the timetable.
I also wonder if this group might be helpful to the family of Joel Gove, lost on the island of Saba on Dec. 31, the day before he was to have returned to the U.S.
The last I knew, the family was trying to raise funds for a private effort to recover his body. Again, the locals can’t be bothered … something that ought to be brought to the attention of travel agents. Their noses ought to be rubbed in it … but what else can you expect from the Netherlands Antilles?
