RSSDemocrats Upset Over Republican’s Trying to Stop “Earmarks”
The Democratic leaders over at the House of Representatives, most prominently David Obey and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, are mad at the Republicans for trying to stop earmarks being hidden from the public. Earmarks are pork projects that legislators put into legislation to bring pork home to their constituants.

Let em be mad, when they fight then the public becomes aware. When they get along it’s almost like thieves in the night.
Who is watching out for the taxpayers anymore? What is going on with this democracy? This all appears to be a shell game. We say we have representation, but who is really representing us?
I think all runners for offices should take lie detector tests, that way we will know if, what they say is what they mean.

What is going on with our democracy (Republic) is a GREAT question that every single American should be asking.
Why are senators and the President of the US doing everything they possibly can to pass this horrible piece of garbage when 77% of the American public (the public these people represent) say they don’t want this bill!
I’ve never in my 56 years been so disheartened and astounded at how the government I’ve always learned about is NOT working and it not “for the people, by the people”.
The earmarks need to be hidden because this is the way that Reid and Pelosi plan to get all the things that had to either be put in ($4.4 billion for border security) or taken out to get sufficient senators to agree to vote for cloture.
When the earmarks get taken care of, there will be no border security (like we have now – border patrol that aren’t allowed to do jack squat, National Guard troops that have to stand there and witness the influx over the border), but it will simply be a bill that yells alle alle in free to illegals crossing into America.
I sure hope that there are sufficient illegal turned legal votes to reelect these schmucks because the American people aren’t going to do it.
One also needs to realize exactly what will happen when these 20 million illegals are give a free pass. Look at Europe who imported workers. The workers are now demanding more rights than Europeans. They want the countries to change to be what they want them to be. This is the last we will see of America.
Monkeys need to get involved with this issue just as much as with the Natalee Holloway issue. It’s that serious folks and we are the only ones who have any possibility of stopping this.
