How insensitive of Obama! Imus was reckless, went too far, he apologized, got fired anyways and the girls will go on with their lives, but the lives of the victims of the VT massacre have been forever truncated.
I wonder if this is a case of reverse discrimination where just because the victims were not black, Obama is minimizing the magnitude of this crime, in order to elevate the significance of Imus’ comment, which was insulting and uncalled for, but did not even warrant him getting fired.
Obama has just shown the true color of his skin: opportunistic.
This is crapp! Obama should know better then to compare the Imus crapp with the Unv. shooting. If he’s that dum we surely don’t need no one like that in charge of our country! When are these people going to just let the Imus thing go you have his job he said he was sorry!
To put the violence at Virginia Tech on par with the rants of Imus is absurd. I’m a little worried about a presidential candidate whose sympathies and feelings of kinship are so narrowly focused that he would equate the savage massacre at Virginia Tech with Don Imus’ act of bigotry.
#1 what a great comment, opportunistic is correct. I don’t remember Obama asking for Snoop Dog to be removed from the airwaves. What a disgusting thing to say. I guess he was upset the cameras were focused on the wonderful people at V.T. and not him. I’ve not seen one person from V.T. who has tried to make this a racial issue, or expressed hatred toward the killer. It is not a racial issue. This man, who has claimed to be color blind, is now showing his true colors, and they are not pretty. When I see Obama take on Sharpton and Jackson I may have some respect for him.
Good comment #1. And I agree with you #4. Look at the names and descriptions of the shooting victims. There are men and women of all ages from many walks of life. I don’t see that any particular group was targeted in regard to sex, race or religion. I read earlier that many South Koreans are very upset that it was someone from their own country that did such a terrible thing and they are hoping there won’t be a backlash against them as a result. Some of the victims were international students. Bless them all and their friends and families.
Say goodbye to your presidential bid Obama. This little faux paux cost you middle America. Don Imus, shock jock, insenstive comments, apologized and was suspended and fired.
Crazed gunman who sent video to NBC, worst mass killing in US History.
Obama, worst Faux Paux by presidential contender. (Did he graduate from the Howard Dean school of PUT YOUR FOOT IN YOUR MOUTH?)
You and I both know that Hillary will be paying people to run this clip of Obama just to defeat him.
I fail to see what the hoopla is about Obama’s comments. Has anyone read the full speech that he gave, the one over which all this criticism is given? Please, research for yourselves. The speech in its entirety can be read at:
