Two More NYC Heros … Julio Gonzalez and Pedro Nevarez Catch Falling 3 Year Old Child after 4 Story Fall
New York City can be a tough place to live, but something is in the water in 2007. This week we have been blessed to witness three of NY City people who became hero’s by doing the right thing. All three made a difference and saved individuals they did not know. Its all about doing the right thing, “Good things happen when you do good.”
Julio Gonzalez, 43, and Pedro Nevarez, 40, caught 3 year old Timothy Addo after he fell from a fire escape falling 4 stories. Timothy Addo had crawled out on the fire escape and was dangling from the edge for dear life. Gonzalez and Nevarez positioned themselves below and caught the boy as he fell to the ground.
God bless you both.
Hearing people in the building scream for help as the boy’s grip weakened, the men rushed over to position themselves under the fire escape to catch him.
“No one came,” Nevarez said. “We knew it was up to us.”
The boy tumbled and hit Nevarez in the chest so hard he knocked him off balance, but he bounced into Gonzalez’ arms.
Timothy was treated at the hospital for a cut on his forehead. (Yahoo News)
Earlier this week Wesley Autrey three himself on to subway tracks to save a man having a seizure.
