4 Year Old Power Ranger Saves Family

Kid_power_rangerIn a combination of bravery and niavity that only a 4 year old boy can have, Stevie Long snuck away from the robbers that had his mother and sister at gun point, changed into his Power Rangers costume, and charged the crooks. In what must prove that they were on drugs, the thieves paniced and ran away at the sight of the 4 year old.

How very cool.

Get away from my family,” 4-year-old Stevie Long shouted, punctuating his screams with swipes of his plastic sword and hearty “yah, yahs.”
The robber and his accomplice, who was waiting outside the apartment Friday night, fled with credit cards, jewelry, cash and other items that Stevie’s mother, Jennifer Long, dumped from her purse.
“I scared the bad guys away,” Stevie said.
According to police: “During the robbery, a … boy snuck into his bedroom, dressed himself in a Power Ranger costume and armed himself with a plastic sword. The child then exited his room and approached the armed suspect, in an attempt to protect his family.”
Relatives said the robber abandoned plans to take Stevie’s mother to an ATM to withdraw cash when he saw Stevie. via  The Detroit News Online.

Good for him … hope they catch the scum and put them in the stocks, where they can be humiliated in public.

Exactly as they deserve to be.

If only more grown men had such courage. Thanks to good raising…just look at what we can produce in our children?

We all know the saying: There is no greater love than to lay one’s life down for a friend. (That certainly includes family!)

What a wonderful spirit in this young man already. I hope the President honors him in some way. If so, he should wear his Power Rangers suit at the White House.

After a day to think about this story, I feel possibly the robbers became ashamed at themselves when they saw this child unafraid to confront them and realized what COWARDS they really were!

      Hope they catch the perps.

This young boy HERO & his sister were both on the View today. They received two large boxes filled with loads of wrapped Christmas presents & they along with their Mom & Grandma have been given 4 days at DisneyWorld.

Isn’t that great. The two children were so cute.

Our children will never cease to amaze the world. The idealism lives within each child, and some act upon it. Stevie is a hero in all respects.

      Everyone is like;
      Yay! Go Steve!

What happens when he grows up?
He may think he can do anything:
      rob a bank without harm.
      find off HUGE people.
      I’m scared for his future.

      think about it people.
