Michael Vick of the Atlanta Falcons flips the Crowd the “Dirty Bird”
Vick Flips the Atlanta crowd the Dirty Bird
Way to make friends and influence people in Atlanta, GA. Doesn’t Vick realize that the NFL stands for the “No Finger League”?
(Hat Tip: Drudge Report)
Nice … Vick didn’t just flip the crowd one finger, he showed he was ambidextrous and gave the crowd the dirty bird with both hands. With the performance that the Falcons put on in the Georgia Dome Sunday, losing for the fourth time in a row he is lucky the fans did not ride the entire team out of town on a rail. What do we really expect anymore from professional athletes in this day and age? At least he Vick did not pull a Ricky Manning Jr.
The Falcons lost 31–13 to the Saints while Vick did run for 166 yards, he passed for 9 of 24 for 84 yards. OUCH!!! Think that type of team effort is going to garner anything but boos and choice comments from a paying crowd? Funny how these over-paid athletes do not shy away from the cameras or crowd adulation when they are cheered. They also do not donate parts of their paychecks to charity when they stink up the field.
Of course Vick was quick to apologize as I am sure the Falcon PR department sat him down immediately.
ESPN, Falcons PR machine
UPDATE: Michael Vick fined $10,000 for obscene gesture

Vick makes how much a year again?

Too much, although obviously not enough to afford etiquette and finishing classes …
Dallas excuses a repeated druggie (terrell Owens).
Is Vicks finger worth all the hype?. These idiots
of sports are given millions and turn into scum.
Only 80% of football players are worth being called
examples for young people to look up to. If you are
a great player, you can rape, do drugs, etc. without
being critisized. Team owners only care about money
and winning.
I have to agree with Molly. These players get away with most everything just because they are football players. Look at Ray Lewis and O.J.. They both got away with murder. Andre Rison, Arson. Many players for rape. Like Molly said the owners only care about money and winning.
I thought he was showing everyone how many touchdowns he had!
molly, I think you are referring to Micheal Irvin about the drugs(the retired cowboys receiver). TO is many things, but I don’t think a druggie.
windy city, On Sept. 27, 2006 T. Owens overdosed on a drug called Lydrocodone.
Thanks Mac, windy city needs to watch the news right after
the football game…lol
wow, my i.q. just dropped a few points reading these comments…get your facts STRAIGHT people….good god! andre rison never set fire to anything, his gf did, and please review the charges against ray lewis…and who pray tell got away with rape? do you have some solid evidence? if so, you should be talking to the police…
molly, you are correct ! look at michael irvin. cocaine possession and enough to do hard prison time. “twice” !
there are also rape accusations, and other drug possessions and all he got was a slap on the hand. your average citizen would still be in prison without a chance in hell !
i think T O is in to himself, not drugs. only he and the Cowboys know what happened in the od incident.it’s all about T O and what he wants. i would say that Tony Romo has stolen the show from T O . we’ll see how well he handles this during the next few games. flipping the bird at your fans when there are kids there who look up to Vick was a big mistake. he is only a mediocre quarterback at best. he should be thinking about how to keep his job instead of trying to be another thug.
HE WHO IS WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE!!!! If ANY one of YOU are perfect, or even close to it., please call me…
Thank You
At least I don’t brutally kill animals. I may not be perfect but I do have enough sense to know what is a felony and what isn’t.
