Ah, NE … this is hardly an exclusive picture. Those that follow this case on the internet have been analyzing this picture for months. Among many others.
Many have had this picture saved in their photo bucket for months
Let’s not forget the 100’s of pictures that Carpe has done as well.
Web sleuths began started seriously looking at the white plastic bag in June 2006, let alone the Arubay videos had been scrutinized long before that. Like many things that wind up in the MSM, they originated from the internet long before.

Out of all the images I have seen come from the chicago videos….this one just creeps me out the most.Looks so much like Natalee.

The NE story says Natalee was last seen with Joran by the Fisherman’s huts. 18months later not one person has proven that, in fact it’s been just the opposite, noone has seen them on the beach or at the huts.
No doubt this video and whoever video taped it need to be looked at. I seriously doubt this was just a chance filming by a tourist. First of all that crime scene at the rocks is very disturbing and although taped at a distance they did alot of filming of a very peculiar event.
Nothing adds up from what they are telling us as we last heard it was the recovery of a young foreign boy who was in several pieces. Before that I beleave they said he was painting a sign. Everyone on the island was looking for natalee and at this same time we have this mysterious visibility team in unmarked and rental vehicles. There was no news at all about the recovery of this boy.
I am not sure what to make out of that bag except it is creepy they are walking so slow and immediately focus on the bag like they knew it was there. I dont think anything is moving though except the wind. Thst picture is interesting but nothing compared to what they were doing at the rocks.
Does anyone have any answers?
1.Has anyone actually seen the missing video?
2.Do we know who actually filmed this? Tourist from chicago?
3.I know jossy identified the guy in the beard,has he questioned him and asked him what the hell he was doing?
4.Who added the background interview of M.J?
5.What is in that bag? Does everyone agree on what they think they see?
6.Can we identify anything else in filming? Is it possible we can take a closer look at the person who looks like paulus in that pickup truck?

SM: The aru-bay site where the videos were posted was a sight for Arubans to post their own home videos. The site was up and running long before Natalee even went to Aruba. The guy who ran the website claims his name is Ed Smith. The aru-bay videos were taken by Ed Smith and his friends I assume.  The idea of the videos was to show the searches going on and also to show that the Security Guards were innocent. The videos were uploaded to the aru-bay site on different dates starting on June 11, 2005. Here is the Index of Images to the original aru-bay site which is now taken down. You can still view all the videos there.  http://www.aru-bay.com/images/

I have gone over and over the video ten way to Sunday, and there is no damn way you are going to see through this plastic! This is what people in Fla call biscane, which is basiclly really heavy plastic to cover stuff with to keep it out of the rain, but tough enough to not tear apart. The plastic in the drain, and there is quite a bit of it wraped up cant be seen through. Now though……here is the problem I do have! If you blow this video up and slow it down, you can see what appears to be a foot moving in the lower right hand corner. The plastic moves consistently like someone trying to free themselves that is tied up. I have been told by others that it could be the water or a breeze moving it. The problem with that is, the breeze couldnt move it because it is down in a hole and protected from the breeze. And if you watch the bushes in the picture, they arent moving enough to move something this heavy in this manner. Also, it was said maybe the water was doing it. But yet the movements are in no way consistent with this either. If water moves something, it dosent alow it to move in mulitple directions as see in the video. So in summary, no I dont believe you can see in the bag unless your using a thermal image scope. But I will say that there is something there that dosent pass the smell test by a long shot, and the question I would have for the photographer, is why in the hell didnt you get your ass down there and see what it was??? It didnt move until you came over it and focused in on it! Also, the supposed picture they inhanced, the body is in the wrong position for the plastic to be moving in the manner it does. Whoever it is, their head is to the upper left and the foot that is moving in plain site, is to the lower right. With the way it moves, it would appear that the hands are bound behind the back and the feet at the ankels. But no matter how many times we go over this, we arent going to know because the photograher didnt get down in there to see, and it is long gone. One thing for sure is though, you cant see in the bag, but there is something I believe in there that moves like a person!

Give credit where credit is due NE. having said that i am extemely pleased to see this pic in the public eye. This should cut the knees out of aruba’s new ads. I sugguest Aruba throw more money at tourist ads & get shot down some more chumps.

I am well aware of Ed Smith but you answered my question. I guess its a friend of his filming but is his film. I did not now the purpose of the filming thankyou. I have followed this since day one but I posted at RWV until D.R. got a little weird and the trolls came out.
All my questions are about that visibility team and that painting of the rocks/ground and forensics that were supposed to be done there. Another paulus look alike in that car that drove by I guess. I also keep hearing about this missing video also. Makes me wonder what would be on that part of the video and why it was removed.
I am curious what the family of pitbull has to say and also would like to know if they can prove this was a little boy they had recovered. Where is any proof?

When in doubt, call you mother. It is not possible to take a picture from a video still and enhance it to be able to see thorough anything! She is a doctor and also a profeesional photographer for fun when she has time. She has been at this for 40 years,and as I said earlier, and she agreed, without a thermal imaging scope, you not going to see in anything. And you cant make a negative and enhance thsi to make it happen either. Someone should beat that ladies ass that is claiming to have done this!

SM: I made many screen capture of the same bag. Over the last 18 months I’ve spent alot of time looking at and enhancing photos. I rotated the image and inverted the colors. I was unable to duplicate what you see in the National Enquirer from my own screen captures. Now, maybe I didn’t capture the bag at exactly the same moment. That could be the problem.  Until I’m able to independantly duplicate it I’m always skeptial. Ok..So we know these Vids were uploaded to the site on June 11th 2005. Do we know when it was actually filmed? Is it possible that this was right after Jorans confession,something bad happened and Dompigs announcement that they were being lead to the body?

You are right as always. As my mother said, it is impossible to take a video still and do this let alone to take a normal picture from a camera and do it. Without thermal imaging, you arent going to see inside anything. Its a damn shame that the NE did this ti make a buck, but on the up side, at least Natalee is in the spotlight fromt and center again! And we know how many people read the trash they put out! Also, have you heard anything eles on the digging that they are doing in a differnt place? Thanks for all your help and paitence with me when I fly off the handle with some of the trolls. And also, on BFN I posted a picture of my daughter to prove a point that it could be anyones daughter(she is 16)and my god did it bring out the cat calls from the women. Wont be doing that anytime soon!

My position – anything that keeps the flame burning is paramount. Carpe is one of the best things that’s happened to thie blog in 18 months.
But the cynic in me wonders why if it’s so compelling – why the NE?
And why the photographer just snapped the pics and apparently walked away.
But this is Aruba and we’re finding out day by day just how dangerous this Happy Island really is.
Where were the Holloways and Twitty’s when this video was made? Were they off on a wild goose chase when this invicibility/police team painted over a crime scene/recovery that was never reported?
I have a funny feeling that they made sure the holloway/twitty camp was no where near that part of the island that day.

I don’t understand your skepticism. Haven’t you seen carpe’s photos? You don’t see anything?
Take a close look at your hand. Hold it over your eyes tightly. Can you see anything? Now, take a bright flashlight and hold it behind your fingers and hand. What do you see now?
Okay, the bag is translucent. You may not be able to see through it, but you can see different shades. If you lighten are darken these shades, then they begin to take shape. That is what Carpe has done, using different filters to bring out different shades of colors.

The picture was taken from the video they took. This ladie is full of crap from the word go. As far as why it was the NE, think anyone other than the New York times would touch this? Not a chance, dosent want to be sued, like the NE gets on a daily basis. But I do agree, if it keeps Natalee in the fore front, so be it!!! Now all we have to do is find a way to get the Dutch to bring the heat. I have a few suggestions, but not going to Klass through all the editing!

I dont doubt that there is something in the plastic, and that whom ever it is, they are alive. But phyics dosent allow something to be done that cant! As for Carpe, he is my hero!!! I applaude all his work and then some, but its just not possible to make happen. That being said though, I do believe after working the video over for about the last hour that someone is in the plastic and very much alive! Although I dont agree with the positio of the person becasue of the movemnets of the plastic, I do agree someone is in there trying to get out. Plastic dosent move like that with out human help. And never doubt my dedication to Natall and her family, and Lass and Red can attest to this, I care about her and her family as much as I do my own daughter! Thanks my friend!

Maybee I have watched this too many times but I swear that looks like PVDS driving in that silver car at beginning of vid. I mean cmon how many involved with the police force/visibility team have that profile? It is like homer simpson driving around. You can spot him a mile away!! Where was this at?? You talking about the missing video? This is complete news to me.. How and where does a black female tie into all this? I have always just assumed that rock painting spot was the NH crime scene.
My theory is she was at the VDS home like joran first stated at 1:48am she was assaulted and possible perished at those rocks. For a long time I was assuming she had a accident or overdosed.. I just dont think that is the case anymore unless she was hit by the car or something. When you have cooperation from the police and higher ups I am sure it was quite easy to make natalee dissapear.

I have no more idea than anyone else here on whether the photos that Carpe Noctem has been posting for months are indeed of Natalee. What I find very difficult to believe, though, is the idea that some guy or guys just happened to be out there and succeeded in somehow coming across all these sites.
As I recall, the photo in which Natalee’s body is presumably stored within a kind of plastic bag was supposed to have been taken in an open boat just sitting in a stream. I can’t think but that anyone would take more pains to conceal such an incriminating thing.
My guess would be that if they are indeed of Natalee, then they were taken by someone who somehow was involved, and wanted to protect himself or possibly to levy blackmail.
As I said, my reaction is not based on any “inside info.” But I’m skeptical. Molly says above that she thinks Natalee was taken out to sea, and I’ve been posting for some time that I think some drug connection of the “Pimps” took her off the island at some point. You’ll point out, correctly, that it seems unlikely that so many people could be involved without someone squealing. But the same objection can be raised with these photos.
Anyway, let’s hope that we find out.
Correction … I think that Natalee’s being taken off the island is highly plausible and a real possibility, not that it is necessarily the true scenario.
And as SM observes, the National Enquirer’s claim to “exclusivity” with the photos is bunk.
I have studied the video and the pictures of this video for months. The island of Aruba has Constant wind blowing. The bag is tied and is Not air tight. If you have a plastic bag that is not air tight and place it in water, some water will enter inside the bag. Since it is not air tight, there would also be air pockets that appear to be bubbles or movement inside the bag.I agree that it Looks like movement inside the bag but it is not. Water is in the basin that the bag is sitting in, so water is underneath it. The video shows that the water is rippling with small wavelike motion in the pond below. As that water ripples, it causes small amts of water to enter the area of the bag thus making it Appear as there is motion inside the bag.
I do believe that this is Natalee, and had reported it to the moderator of my site about Natalee,and several months ago,sought her assistance to get this checked out or at the very least passed on to the appropriate authorities. The configuration of the body inside the bag is distorted, but the imaging that was utilized to enhance this picture also enhances bone structure. By looking at photos and at different angles, some of the bones appear like x-rays.
I will not go into any more details here, but I think that all will see after the pictures are studied that it will be confirmed that this really is Natalee’s body and it was just 1 of several times that her body was moved.
This is a horrible and tragic event for her family to have to endure. I was hoping that her family would be “spared” seeing these pictures. Sometimes, it is better to leave the graphic details to the authorities here in the US and they can determine how to tell a family member without showing them the graphic details.

Use the phone link for Aruba that I gave you. I don’t have the bookmark right now, but I’ll get it. Do a search under Noord, and it will give you a phone and address list. See what pops up. It might just go somewhere. Also if you use the search, most married women in aruba continue to use their madden name in some form i.e. Mary Weaver Jones. You can search these out also. You can even do a search under first names for example, the search under Mary would probable turn up 1/4 of all women in Aruba.
You may have missed my post when you were sick, but by using the funeral home obituaries and the phonebook, it’s interesting to see where the people lived that died soon after Natalee disappeared. Like the Wever Lady. She evidently lived in an apartment near the area. I started a whole list, but I am having trouble finding it; and no one seemed interested so it died from neglect.

i just read a st. marteen paper dated june 05 that said after natalee disappeared, the prosecutor wanted to call in the fbi or dutch police, but permission was denied by the minister of justice. did i miss that last year?

Rudy Croes has been the one pulling all the strings since june 2005 when he was alerted by sloot,stratten and the other dirtballs that no one most know what happened to natalee holloway.
From what I’ve read, Aruba does not allow the use of lie detectors … supposedly because they are not always reliable. The real reason may be guessed at.
One question … where is that plastic bag now? Is it in the custody of Aruba police (in which case, a substitution probably has been made), or has it vanished?

Waterboy thank you. It helps to know there are human beings like you out there. It was an emergency operation for a dilated colon which resulted in a temporary colostomy. I was sent home and six days later was found to have a bacterial infection. So out of 33 days I spent 27 in the hospital; two different times. I am at home with nursing care and have taken almost 200 iv’s of anti-biotics and have a constant abdominal drain, with no end in sight. Why am I writing about myself? While in the hospital there were seven roommates that were discharged or requested discharge before I left. I thought some may like to share my experiences. For those not interested forgive me for taking up your time. #1. Was a diabetic had lost a toe and might lose a foot. #2. Was a diabetic and heart condition. Just wanted to go somewhere to die. #3. Was an alcoholic who was trying to get into a rehab center. He was tired of drinking 1/2 gal of vodka and wash it down with a six pack #4. A widower of 52 years of marriage who was on dialysis three times a week. He had no family. he just wanted to go somewhere to die because he felt the 12 hours a week for treatment was a waste. Met his neighbor one night who just happened to be someone I had not seen in thirty years.#6 A 90 year old who had a slight blood infection caused by the ER room at the hospital. Could not wait to get home back with his live in girl friend. #7 A 52 year old black man who was mentally challenged. He had a pace maker installed and was to be sent back to his nurshing home. He fought to go to a different home because he felt he was being mistreated at his original nursing home. By the way he won.
Anyway you could place me anywhere in this group. I don’t like what happened. It takes me on the average of 8 hours a day to care for myself. But so far I am still alive and looking forward to a reasonable time frame when I should be back to normal after another operation. I felt a lot of compassion for each of my fellow hospital patients. A lot more than I could/will ever feel for the corrupt authorities on Aruba that could let this happen to an innocent 18 year old girl and still continue to cover up the truth.

I was in the supermarket check out tonight and saw the National Examiner also has a Natalee story on the front. It says Natalee’s body was found.. I didn’t take time to read it, but thought it was refering to these pictures also.
1006 I wish you all the best in recovering. My mother had colon cancer and had extensive surgery, including a colostomy. The last 4 years of her life she took chemo 3 weeks a month and one week off, she never complained much about anything, she was that way most of her life, except the colostomy. That was the hardest for her. My thoughts are with you.

NOW – As I understand it, the stills are derived from
frames of 510-24. I have watched every stitch of 510-24
and I know the videographer’s foot to belong to what
appears to be that of a black female.

the 24 Snap from the movie and made a negative image
from that snap… okay.
That is the only way I can see it being stated as
“I took the picture.” It just seemed a little odd to
me, because the way it is said… it almost gives

Basin scene when the image was first recorded -June
of 2005.
That certainly could be the case, but watching the video
and dialing in to the clues that are present in ARUBAY 24

Thanks for telling me what the Examiner said, I saw it, but didn’t take time to go back and read or look at it. I did make some comments about the case though and the people in line with me said the same thing JusticeforNatalee. They said cover up and VDS did it. It keeps the story in the public and that is a good thing.
