700 Passengers & Crew Sick with norovirus aboard the Carnival Cruise Lines’ Liberty
Carnival Cruise Lines’ Liberty is the latest to be stricken with the norovirus as 700 people, passengers and crew became ill.
The ship left Rome on Nov. 3 with about 2,800 paying passengers and was due to arrive in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday.
“Within 24 hours of sailing, they had a lot of people sick. It has tapered off considerably over the past couple days,” said David Forney, with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. (Yahoo News)

So whats new.
I wonder if your friendly travel agent is going to tell you about this sort of thing if you express interest in taking a cruise. Yeah, right ….
I cruise and I can assure you no travel agent will
tell you nothing but the fine wonderful times you
will have..If you question the cruise line they will
say they are not allowed to give out that info and you
must write to the CEO,,,etc…BS BS BS. You can protect
yourself by limiting your off ship dining and keep those
hands washed 50 times a day at least
Norovirus can be easily prevented. you just need the right products and techniques. This costs no more money to impliment. the big companies Ecolab etc. can’t do this. they hust encourage an outbreak.
Things need to be changed for the better
