Another Irresponsible Muslim Protest … Hijacked Turkish Airline Plane to Protest Pope’s Visit
So what does any responsible individual do who has an issue with what Pope Benedict said about a link between Islam and violence? The answer, hijack an airplane. Both hijackers are said to be Turks. I guess this is what we come to consider as simple and non-violent protest in the Muslim world these days.

UPDATE & CORRECTION:
Seemed a bit too peaceful for a protest of late … no burning building or cars.
“I am a Christian and don’t want to serve a Muslim army,” he wrote, adding that he had been attending church since 1998.
Earlier reports that there were two hijackers and they were protesting Benedict’s planned visit to Turkey next month were apparently incorrect. (CNN)

Re; Holloway Case:
I emailed Larry Garrison just now asking if it was Deepak who was talking, and referenced the rumor that he was in negotiations with someone… Larry’s response:

In negotiations my foot. He has been peddling a book like Joran. No… the deep throat is pointing his finger at the same suspects.

Its not that they are terrorists, its that we don’t understand their system of justice.
I remember the day when you could get on a plane and NOT even have to go thru a metal detector !!!
according to turkish and Italian news, the man (it was only 1 hijacker, not 2) was Christian, not muslim.
______
SM: Thanks, made the correction from the earlier report … no cars were set on fire … that was the first clue

Hey kelgreta,
I too remember those days. My kids love going to the town fair. Hopefully you were tall enough to get on the roller coaster and the ferris wheel as well as the airplane ride!
#5…hmmmmm wondering what kind of a christian this guy was who was so offended by the Popes remarks…
I would guess he was not really a christian …just a wanna be … following in the footsteps of his father,
satan…. counterfiet..
@Sharon.
he hijacked the plane because he didn’t weant to serve in the Turkish army. please read the whole article before you write something.
windy, Yea those were the days !!!!!!!!!!
MedgaShira….. He still is satans brother! Get over it!
@sharon
I was revering to your “offeded by the pope remarks” remark, not his religion.
and I don’t believe this was an act of satan but an act of despair. This man had a choice: serve in the army (what is hell for turkish Christians), pay $25.000,- (wich most Turks don’t earn in a lifetime) or flee. He chose to flee, but did it in een incredible stuppid and wrong (not evil)way. of course he does have to be punnished for his actions.
sharon, don’t start accusing people of being the son/father/brother/bride/grandma of satan if you don’t know the whole story. politicians do that, normal people mostly don’t.
got a new update. turns out there do where 2 hijackers. 1 muslim other unknown.
thanks Italian police for making me look like an a** on this board.
MegaShira, don’t start telling me how to think either…
Can it and you are by far not normal jerk!
@sharon, why the agression?
I type a normal respons and you start swearing! is that normal? I don’t think so. how can you have a normal discusion when you start swearing at others?
MegaShira get a grip I never swore….Don’t bother responding to my comment, your thinking is distorted
on what I am saying…Ciao
Just throw your Papal hats up in the air
…and wave ‘em like u just DON’T CARE!
(lightning bolt) OOPS!!!!!!!
