NYC DJ, Troi Torain (Star) Fired for Threatening to Sexually Assault 4-Year-Old

This story is just unbelievable, shocking and disturbing. Clear Channel Radio’s Power 105.1 FM’s DJ Troi Torain (Star) from the “Star & Buc Wild Morning Show” was fired and is being investigated possible bias crime after making threatening racial and sexual remarks about a rival’s wife and 4-year-old daughter. What ever happened to music on the radio? Or at least DJ’s providing some sort of humor instead of this nonsense. The racial hatred and threats that this DJ committed is beyond words. Fired? This idiot needs to be visiting the judge for what he did and no apology can change it. No pathetic excuse from his attorney can change the vile comments that he spewed. One really needs to wonder what this person was thinking.

“The statements made by Star in response, while inappropriate, were, however, made under great duress and at a time when he was fearful for his safety and the safety of members of his staff,” Brafman said in statement.

Take a good look at what this guy actually said in a world where all too often listeners take DJ’s serious and do not think for one minute they make be kidding. Who threatens a 4 year old girl? Fired, hell jail should be in your future.

In the comments, made between May 3 and Monday, Torain Ã¢â‚¬” co-host of the “Star & Buc Wild Morning Show” Ã¢â‚¬” offered $500 to any listener who could provide information about the rival DJ’s daughter’s school and used racial slurs when talking about his wife, who is part Asian.

“I will come for your kids,” Torain said, according to transcribed excerpts provided by Liu’s office. “I finally got the information on his slant-eyed, whore wife.”

Torain also called the couple’s child a “little half a lo mein eater” and said he wanted to “do an R. Kelly on your seed, on your little baby girl. I would like to tinkle on her,” according to the excerpts.

The comments apparently were referring to videotapes in 2002 showing a man bearing a strong resemblance to singer R. Kelly having sex with someone who appeared to be an underage girl and then urinating on her.

Hip-Hop Radio D.J. Arrested for On-Air Threats

A syndicated disc jockey with one of the city’s leading hip-hop radio stations was arrested this afternoon for making on-air threats to track down and sexually abuse the 4-year-old daughter of a rival, the police said.

For those of you that think that this DJ did nothing wrong or wish to say that he said things only what “selective” hearing allowed; I guess the transcripts of the days program are not valid?

A syndicated hip-hop disc jockey arrested after making on-air racial and sexual rants about a rival radio personality’s wife and young child has been released on bail.

DJ Star, whose real name is Troi Torain, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child after a broadcast on Power 105.1 FM.

Transcripts show he hurled racist insults, threatened to sexually abuse the 4-year-old daughter of his rival, Hot 97′s DJ Envy, and offered $500 for information about where she went to school.

“I will come for your kids,” Torain said, according to a transcript provided by New York Councilman John C. Liu.
