One persons Opinion on Torture and the Natalee Holloway Investigation

From The Clarion Ledger, Torture justified in some instances.

I would remind people that it would appear that the writer of this article is referring to all people who prey of children and predators, not just being myopic in regards to the Natalee Holloway investigation. However, no truer words have ever been spoken, “You just can’t play patty cake with snakes”

I believe there are justified instances for torture (“Poll: Most in U.S. back limited use of torture,” Dec. 7).

If you believe strongly that an enemy, captured in the heat of battle, has information that will save the lives of your men, such as the location of an ambush, or hidden explosives, then any action needed to extract that information is justified. That would be no different than using deadly force to protect your family against an armed intruder.

A few years ago, a pervert was arrested and confessed to kidnapping, raping and murdering a little girl, but refused to tell where he left her body. Any method needed to get that information would be justified. No mercy for such animals.
