Taylor Behl’s viewing Today; She Would Have Been 18 Today. God Bless

On her 18th birthday Taylor Behl’s family has the sad task of having a viewing for their daughter. Words cannot even begin to describe the grief that Taylor’s family must be experiencing. Taylor, God Bless.

VIENNA, Va. (AP) – Virginia Commonwealth University freshman Taylor Behl would have turned 18 Thursday, but instead of birthday cake and presents her family is planning to lay her to rest.
A viewing will take place Thursday and her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Holy Comforter. Both events will be in her hometown of Vienna, but they’re not open to the public.

The Richmond Times Dispatch

Family, friends and well-wishers can gather at the Money & King Funeral Home, 171 Maple Avenue West in Vienna from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m.

Anyone wishing to send flowers or condolences is asked to contact the funeral home at (703) 938-7440.

This is so sad. I went to VCU in 1977, so this story touched me. I hated the school, because it didnt feel safe and I transferred to James Madison. There was little supervision of freshman there from the college.

My condolences to the family. I am thinking of this family today with all my heart.

Taylor would have turned 18 today, and next week Natalee Holloway would have been 19.

Two lovely young women, so full of life, with so much to offer the world. The sadness is infinite.

Taylor and Natalee, rest in peace.

As a parent I cannot fathom the thought of having to bury my child, let alone to be doing it when we should be celebrating her birthday.
My heart breaks for the families of Taylor and Natalee, two bright shining stars with the world at their feet, onlly to have it snuffed out by some cruel, sick individuals. It is indeed a scary world we live in.

I am surprised they’re having a viewing when her remains have been described as “mostly skeletal.” I don’t mean to judge, but it just seems so morbid to have a viewing of that. I couldn’t bear to see someone I loved in that kind of state. I guess everyone deals with death in their own way, and they probably need closure. May she rest in peace, and I hope whoever did this to her pays for what they did.

My heart aches for Taylor’s family. What could be worse than burying your child. My deepest sympathy for the family of Taylor Behl.

This is such a sad story. Britt, I think they just mean visitation, at least I hope. I have been to “viewings” that were actually closed casket….

How truly tragic this is. My heart aches for anyone who has to deal with this kind of loss. Taylor was such a beautiful lady, to think that anyone would hurt her breaks my heart. Rest in peace honey.

I’m thinking of taylor family on such a bad ending.I was hoping she would be found alive. But soon as I saw the B Farley guy changing his hair and dying it he was hidding from something. It sure is strange that he said he was attacked with a bag on his head and throw out on a dirt road.Do you think he may have put a bag on her head and smothered her?He same to be telling the story backward to what he did to her.he was mad because she had a new guy and he wanted to be the guy and she didn’t want that.God bless the familyand my prayers are with you that you can find a little peace.

I think it’s pretty obvious they mean visitation, but have been to busy grieving to think about the semantics. I think everyone knows what they mean and don’t want to point of the error out of compassion to the family.
