Dave Holloway; Steady and Even Keeled
According to the Dave Holloway during my telephone conversation with him, he appeared that his thought process when dealing with the prosecution of the suspects in his daughters disappearance is to “stay the course”. Dave Holloway said to me that he was upset that Joran Van der Sloot, and the Deepak brothers were released from prison. He was a bit skeptical of the timing of the release as many eyes were turned. However, he made it very clear that this is a long race and it is not over.
When asked about the case and whether things were going fast enough for him, Dave’s response was as follows:
“We have two years to do something and gain evidence if this is a murder case. The prosecution better have the evidence to go forward to try the case or wait until they do. I do not want this to be a mock trial and there be double jeopardy if there is no real evidence. I do not want the Prosecution to jump to any conclusions because they feel they have to do something.”
Still No Sign Of College Student Taylor Behl
One week after Taylor Behl walked out of her dorm room to give her roommate privacy with a boyfriend, the 17 year old college student remains missing.
Increasingly anxious local authorities have called in the FBI for help. Virginia Commonwealth University freshman Taylor Behl hasn’t been heard from since she hastily departed her room last Monday night with her car keys and a credit card.
Also missing is her car, a white 1997 Ford Escort with Virginia license plates JPC-2848. Behl’s roommate reported her missing to campus police at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. Police said there has been no activity on her credit cards or bank accounts since she disappeared. Calls to her cell phone ring through, indicating the phone is on and the battery charged seven days after she vanished.
Behl is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black, hooded sweatshirt. University police chief Willie Fuller would not speculate on what he believes happened to Behl or say whether he suspects foul play.
Art Wood; Holloway Investigator To Come Forward
Art Wood has been one of the lead investigators in the Natalee Holloway disappearance. He has scoured the island in search of evidence in this case including the belt he found near the lighthouse. According to WTOV 9, Art Wood plans on coming forward and telling what he knows.
Since then, Wheeling native and FBI consultant, Arthur Wood, has been working in Aruba to find her.
Back in June, the retired secret service man began working with the owner of the largest paper in Aruba to find Natalee, Wood believes Natalee’s body is in the water.
He believes Dutch authorities have orchestrated a cover-up, including evidence against the main suspect in the case, Joran van der Sloot…
Wood claims pieces of evidence are missing including phone records and a belt he found in the sand dunes sent to Dutch authorities.
He claims no d-n-a tests were ever done.
Art Wood will be on the Dr. Phil Show along with Beth Holloway Twitty at Thursday at 3 right on WTOV9.
Dr. Phil, the syndicated afternoon talk host, will be doing a special show on the Natalee Holloway disappearance this coming Thursday, September 15th. The show promises coverage of the story, with new interviews and a lie detector test.

$2,000 Disaster Relief Cards work at Louis Vuitton Too
When the Red Cross and FEMA distributed the $2,000 Cash Cards to Refugees from the Hurricane Katrina disaster area, it was with the intentions of providing solace and funds for people to get their lives back together. However, these cards also have been used to buy Louis Vuitton purses from the self named store at the fancy Lenox Mall, in Atlanta, Georgia.
From The New York Daily News:
Profiteering ghouls have been using debit cards distributed in the wake of Hurricane Katrina – intended to buy essentials for evacuated families – in luxury-goods stores as far away as Atlanta.
“We’ve seen three of the cards,” said a senior employee of the Louis Vuitton store at the Lenox Square Mall in affluent Buckhead, who asked not to be named. “Two I’m certain have purchased; one actually asked if she could use it in the store. This has been since Saturday.”
The distinctive white cards were distributed by the Red Cross and the Federal Emergency Management Agency and carry a value of up to $2,000.
“It doesn’t say anything on the card other than alcohol, tobacco and firearms cannot be purchased with it,” the store employee told me. “There’s nothing legally that prevents us from taking it, unfortunately. Other than morally, it’s wrong.”
The source told me that the two women who had made purchases with the card each bought a signature monogrammed Louis Vuitton handbag in the $800 range.
While this is not surprising, it does make one wonder what the criteria used to give away the cards are, and what other rediculous stories will arise from this government cash transfer?

Kennedy Wants to Know if Roberts is Stingy
On the first day of the hearings where the Senators on the Judicial Committee pontificated for 10 minutes each, very little occurred. All 21 Senators gave their impressions for the evening news back home, giving very little information or anything outside of the party lines.
The Republican Senators told Supreme Court Nominee John Roberts not to answer bad questions, ones that have been determined to set up land mines for the candidate, and make him go on record on topics that he should never be on record for.
The Democrats were faced with a candidate certain to face approval, so they worked on setting the tone that Roberts needed to answer all of their questions, and then made digs at the President. Over all it was quite boring.
Roberts made a great statement, including this quote.
My personal appreciation that I owe a great debt to others reinforces my view that a certain humility should characterize the judicial role. Judges and justices are servants of the law, not the other way around. Judges are like umpires. Umpires don’t make the rules; they apply them.
The role of an umpire and a judge is critical. They make sure everybody plays by the rules. But it is a limited role. Nobody ever went to a ball game to see the umpire.
However, the Esteemed Senator from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy, did make a rambling statement which we have video of trying to portray John Roberts as stingy with the Constitution. See for yourself.
