MSM, If Bill Clinton Says it Then It Has to be True
From the AP
Former President Clinton said Wednesday while giving a speech in Denmark “that the political changes in Iraq, including parliamentary elections in January, will help bring stability to the region.” So it appears that the former Democratic President of the United States is giving his stamp of approval on the present actions in Iraq.
Clinton met with Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen and a number of Danish lawmakers during his visit. The former president spoke with reporters before flying to Jordan for a poverty conference.
“The Sunnis and the Shiites, the Kurds and all the various tribes can work out accommodations that will allow them to build a stable society, I think that will be good for Iraq and good for the Middle East,” Clinton said at the end of a two-day visit to Denmark.
I am just waiting for the American Liberal mainstream media to pick up on this Clinton shout out to George W. Bush. I probably should not hold my breathe.
“There is no point living in the past,” Clinton said. “Look at where we are now. Everyone, all freedom-loving people would be better off with a genuinely representative, effective, free government in Iraq whatever your feelings are about what went on before.”
Forgive me, but I may be wrong but hasn’t President Bush been saying this from the beginning of the conflict in Iraq? Newsweek and all other MSM, we are waiting for the printed copy of Clinton’s story of his praise of what is transpiring in Iraq. You usually print anything he says against this President, why don’t you print the positive as well?
Update: Looks like PoliPundit is on the trail. Great question sound bite of the day.
