DNC Chairman Dean Endorses the Socialist Bernie Sanders
Well that did not take long. Yesterday I predicted that the hoopla regarding whether the Democrats would support Socialist Bernie Sanders was pretty much wishful thinking on the part of Republicans. Sure enough, a day later and the point is moot. The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Howard Dean, will support Socialist Bernie Sanders for the VT Senate seat of the retiring Jim Jeffords.
Breaking party lines, former Gov. Howard Dean said Monday he supports Rep. Bernard Sanders’ bid for the U.S. Senate, saying the Independent makes a “strong candidate.”
“A victory for Bernie Sanders is a win for Democrats,” Dean said in a telephone interview Monday.
Rather interesting and this should be news to many middle of the road Democrats in the South, Midwest and Southwest that a win for a “socialist” like Bernie Sanders is the same as that of a Democrat. So from the mouth of the Chairman of the Democratic party comes the connection that socialists and Democrats have the same agenda.
One would think that a socialist like Sanders would have been more of a free spirit and not attach himself to one of the main political parties. After all, isn’t that why he has been a socialist all these years and not a democrat?
Or can the situation be explained more to the point that the Democratic party has become so liberal leaning that there is no difference anymore between a Socialist and a Democrats? I think a lot of Democrats better take a good look and see just what exactly their national party has become.

Update: Polls show Sanders way out in front.
No kidding. Does one really need to take a poll to figure that a Socialist would be winning hands down when running for office from The Socialists Republic of VT?
