RSS – A Primer by Robert Scoble

Robert is one of the leaders in the Tech blog world. He has written a terrific primer on RSS readers. I do not think that RSS has permeated the political blogging world as much as it will over the next 18 months. If you are like me, you find going from site to site takes alot of time to see what new has happenned. About a year ago, I started using NewsGator  that plugs in to outlook. Now I can follow over 150 blogs very very quickly. When a new item is posted, it is pushed to my outlook in a folder for that site. VERY EASY.

I was just online for a couple of minutes, downloaded the RSS feeds, and now can blog from the deck at my leisure, completely offline.

Below the fold is a repost of Scobles work. Very good job in letting people know what is out there in the RSS world.

What’s New? Democrats Oppose Another Bush Appointee

There is nothing new here. Democrats whining about another GWB appointee; this time its John R. Bolton, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Democrats are likely to vote unanimously against him. What a shock.

Why You Should Watch “Left End of the Dial”

If you have ever listened to Air America to get a good laugh, to get material for your site or just hear what the left is saying; watch “Left End of the Dial.” According to Jackson’s Junction it is a documentary that plays like a comedy. Or did he say a joke?

The best part was election night. (Why was I still nervous Bush might lose?) Anyway, probably because of those wonderful, liberal-heartbreaking, terribly wrong exit polls, the entire Air America crew was working that night, excited, so sure of victory, and ready for the revolution.

To see the looks on their smug faces — to hear the pain in their shrill voices… Priceless. First Florida. Then Ohio. Priceless. God love those exit pollsters.

Scared Monkeys had posted on the release earlier this month. Make sure you get a chance to see it as an example of how to not create a radio station based on the premise of hatred for a Republican President and the hope to create enough ill will to have him lose an election. Yep, its a comedy.

Canadian Superiority???

One thing that annoys our household, especially Mrs. Tom, is the smug superiority that Canadians have. I mean, they pay over half there salary to the government for healthcare that does not deliver. They piggyback on our defense spending, knowing that if they ever had to step up to the plate to defend themselves, there whole social welfare system would come crashing down.

So news from Instapundit about an impending crisis for the Canadian government is interesting not for the crisis itself, but in how the most noble and righteous government is handling it.

They have imposed a publication ban, which I assume to mean that the media is not allowed to cover the corruption of the labor party.

Another great reason for the rise of the blogworld. It allows exposure of the issues in third world countries.

UPDATE:
For the sick and gory details of the labor and mob shakedown of the Canadian population by the liberal criminals, see Captains Quarters. It is totally amazing.

Maybe This Is What Attorney George Felos Meant To Say

Why do I find this not hard to believe? Why does it sound like it was probably closer to the truth? ScrappleFace may have the real story as to whom Attorney Felos was speaking of.
