Links, We Got Links. Count Me In For Two

I love to co-mingle links in the same post to cite references to make my point and in this case it helps out a bud to boot. Anything to help someone get past DU, or what some refer to as the Hell Mouth.

And on a political note in the 2006 Senate Race, Polipundit gives us the idea that Robert “Sheets” Byrd is beatable. With a look like this, how could anyone vote for Byrd again?

Rest ye Well, Common Sense

Tomahawk over at 1754blog has a great post on the loss of a good man.Common Sense.

 

With the elevation of Howard Dean as spokesman for too many people and the nomination of John Kerry, we lost a great American…..

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Mr. Common Sense.

Mr. Sense had been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such value lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, and that life isn’t always fair. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not kids, are in charge).
