Are they really gonna look?
Okay, this is the story that makes no sense…
Minnesota Company Expands List of Recalled Deli Sandwiches
Washington (AP)strong> – A Minnesota company has expanded its recall of sandwiches sold to convenience stores and in vending machines because of possible listeria contamination.
E.A Sween Co. earlier this month announced the recall of 12,600 Deli Express turkey and cheese sandwiches distributed nationwide in February and bearing the manufacture code 450191.It has expanded that to include those with code number 450464 and nine additional types of sandwiches, it said in a statement Friday from Eden Prairie, Minn., headquarters.
Okay, I admit I am not the most healthy eater. But even I draw the line on eating a premade sandwich at the convenience store. So I feel safe in saying this.
What are the odds that someone who eats those sandwiches will look at the numbers on it to see if it is safe to eat??? I mean, come on. These are people eating sandwiches out of the gas station. They are the people reading the AP and looking at sandwich code numbers….
What an amazing disconnect.
