Bad news for Aruba … the Lifetime network keeps the Natalee Holloway disappearance on “One Happy Sad Island” alive …
Natalee Holloway went missing in Aruba in 2005 while on a graduation trip with classmates from Mountain Brook, AL. She was last seen leaving an Aruban bar, Carlos n’ Charlies with Joran Van der Sloot, Deepak Kalpoe and Satish Kalpoe. After numerous stories, false accusations and lies, the three suspects were arrested; however, would later be released. They have never been prosecuted and Natalee Holloway was never seen or heard from again.
After all the lies, corruption, cronyism, cover ups and lies … Aruba has never held anyone accountable for the disappearance of Natalee Holloway and expects Americans to just forget the story and what occurred. Thankfully, Beth Holloway will never let that occur as she searches for answers and “Justice for Natalee”.
The Lifetime network did so well with the first Natalee Holloway movie in 2009 that was watched by 3.2 million and counting, that they have decided to do a sequel. The new endeavor by Lifetime will be the calling cry that Scared Monkeys has used for year … “Justice for Natalee Holloway.” Maybe it should be subtitled, “We stand with the girl”.The focus of the sequel will be Beth Holloway’s quest to get answers from Joran Van der Sloot as to what happened to Natalee and the “extortion” attempt by Joran to fleece money from the family for information. What a shock, it turned out Joran was lying yet again.
The sequel, “Justice for Natalee Holloway”will reportedly focus on Beth Holloway’s efforts to get Joran van der Sloot indicted for extortion and wire fraud. Those indictments were handed down by a federal grand jury here in Alabama last year after van der Sloot allegedly promised information about Natalee’s fate in exchange for money. The FBI says van der Sloot took the money but never came through with the information.
Sadly, many in Aruba did everything possible to prevent the real story coming out as to what happened to Natalee Holloway. The corruption, cronyism and cover-up in the investigation into Joran Van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers was apparent to all. The end result, Aruba lied and another girl died. Five years to the day that Natalee Holloway went missing, Joran Van der Sloot was at it again, this time in Peru. However, this time the crime did not occur in Aruba, daddy Sloot was dead and no where to help the “little sporter” and Joran was caught on tape.
Shortly after the alleged extortion, but before the FBI sought his arrest, van der Sloot was arrested in Peru after the corpse of a Peruvian student was found in his Lima hotel room. Peruvian police say van der Sloot admitted he killed Stephany Flores after she found material about Natalee on his laptop.
Lifetime will also do a 10 part reality series, “Vanished With Beth Holloway,” will have Beth interviewing families who have been victimized by unspeakable crimes. Could this be the precursor of Beth Holloway doing an “America’s Most Missing” show?
