So if she supposedly died in your arms, why didn’t you help her? What reason would there ever be for you to feel the need to dispose of a body if a crime was not committed against her? The answer, because there was one committed. No one’s first reaction is to dispose of a body unless they have something to hide like the use of date rape drugs, a sexual assault and further crimes against Natalee Holloway.

Joran Van der Sloot’s first reaction is not to help Natalee Holloway, but instead to dispose of her body. Joran even admits he was not sure whether Natalee Holloway was dead or in a coma. In other words when Joran Van der Sloot disposed of her body, Natalee Holloway may have still been alive. All she may have need was medical attention? Who knew that Joran was a physician capable of determining whether someone was alive or dead. What is the legal term for that Aruba when some one gets rid of a person who is still alive?

Van der Sloot said on the tape that his Aruban friend, alone, took Holloway out to the ocean and dumped her apparently lifeless body.

But was she really dead?

“How were you so sure she was dead, Joran?” van der Eem asked on the tapes. “You know, people can also go into a coma.”

“Yeah, I wasn’t sure about that, but it really startled me to death,” van der Sloot admitted.

“But she could also have been in a coma,” van der Eem said.

“That’s possible too huh,” van der Sloot answered. “That’s very possible.”

Van der Sloot said he immediately began crafting an alibi.

“I have to do normal things,” he said. “And I am going to casino tomorrow night so I’m on camera.” (ABC News)

Joran shows no emotion towards Patrick when he tells him that he didn’t sleep one night less because of the whole situation. He also tells him that Natalee’s death was in fact quite fortunate for him. “Now I can abuse the whole situation”, he says indicating the book he has written.

Jorans friends Deepak and Satish, who have been arrested for this case several times, are completely innocent. Joran declares with pride that he has abused them to create an alibi for himself. He calls them “very stupid boys’”.
