CNN Broadcasts George Zimmerman’s Social Security Number, Drivers License Number & Personal Data … How Did Prosecution Miss not Redacting?

WAS THIS INTENTIONAL?

Like George Zimmerman doesn’t have enough to worry about as he battles for his freedom and second degree murder charges.  As reported at Breitbart, on Monday, CNN broadcasted George Zimmerman’s Social Security number and other personal information live over the air, including address, date of birth, and phone number. The incident took place as Sanford police detective Doris Singleton was testifying about her interview with George Zimmerman following his detention when the prosecuting lawyer pulled up a copy of the “narrative report” for the court to view. That was when the court video feed then showed, in close-up, as the lawyer zoomed in on Zimmerman’s personal information. Was this intentional by the prosecution or are they that incompetent that they would not redact such personal info? Twitter was a buzz as soon as it occurred as Zimmerman’s personal info was broadcast on national TV and sure to have been DVR’d … via Twitchy.

The liberal MSM has been out for George Zimmerman since the outset of this case. Now, if for some reason Zimmerman is acquitted of second degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin, they have all but ensured that he will be a victim of identity theft. UNREAL. With the help of the state prosecution. How does one put that Jeanie back in the bottle?

This is what was seen, the personal info has been since responsibly redacted

Officer Doris Singleton was testifying when the prosecutors showed a narrative report including Zimmerman’s information.

That immediately launched a round of tweets by Zimmerman haters celebrating knowledge of that information.

This is hardly the first time Zimmerman’s personal information has been distributed by those who oppose him. During the initial coverage of the Zimmerman trial, Spike Lee retweeted the home address of what he thought was Zimmerman’s home address. It turned out to be the wrong address. Roseanne Barr then tweeted Zimmerman’s parents’ home address. “If Zimmerman isn’t arrested I’ll rt his address again. maybe go 2 his house myself,” Barr tweeted.

Check out the reaction of George Zimmerman and attorneys when they realize his personal info is out there for all to see.

From Mediaite:

As the information continues to be shown before the court (but no longer on CNN), Zimmerman can be seen muttering to his counsel, possibly in regards to the confidential numbers now available to all in the room.

“Get that down, get that down,” an unnamed person in the court can be heard telling the lawyer.

“Oh my god,” the prosecuting lawyer exclaimed. “How can I clear it?” he asked before removing it from the in-court screen.

UPDATE — CNN says in a statement:

Routinely the evidence is first given to the Court Clerk for redaction, and that didn’t happen in this instance. The Court is circling back to attorneys on both sides to make sure they give the Clerk’s office the opportunity to redact the necessary information.
