Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor linked to Michael Jackson and the last person who saw Jackson alive had his Houston office raided by police and Feds. Dr. Conrad Murray is facing a manslaughter investigation into the death of the King of Pop.
The Los Angeles Police Department is reportedly treating the death of Michael Jackson as a homicide. Some one had to had injected and administered Jackson with sedatives. Common sense speculation would point to the doctor that was hired by AEG Live to accompany Jackson. What will the good doctors defense be … it was Jackson who injected himself? Unfortunately, Michael Jackson was headed down a bad road started many years ago. It should come as no surprise to anyone, such was the case with Anna Nicole Smith, that they died far too young. However, under the circumstances … the question now is who was responsible for Jackson’s death that pushed it over the edge?
Hours after Wednesday’s police and federal raid on Dr. Conrad Murray’s Houston office, investigators subpoenaed records from more of Jackson’s medical team, including his nutritionist Cherilyn Lee.
Murray’s lawyer Edward Chernoff released a statement Wednesday saying the search warrant gave police the power to look for anything that “they believed constituted evidence of the offense of manslaughter.”
Will Jackson’s doctor be charged with involuntary manslaughter? One thing is for certain, Michael Jackson is to high profile a celebrity for someone to not take the fall in his death. Although Jackson can blame no one but himself for his reckless behavior, some one will be held responsible.
An involuntary manslaughter charge, which law enforcement sources have told ABC News is the mostly likely charge to come out of the investigation, means the person charged did not intentionally cause the death but knew his or her actions were risky enough to do so.
Investigators believe that someone was intravenously administering propofol, a powerful sedative, to Jackson at his home.
Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson’s doctor was not licensed to prescribe controlled drugs in California.
Federal authorities told FOXNews.com that Dr. Conrad Murray is not licensed to administer certain levels of controlled medications in the state, and that if he gave Demerol or Oxycontin to Jackson, as has been reported, it would have been illegal.

“The search warrant authorized law enforcement to search for and seize items, including documents, they believed constituted evidence of the offense of manslaughter,” said Ed Chernoff, lawyer for Dr. Conrad Murray.
Chernoff said Drug Enforcement Administration agents and Los Angeles police left the Armstrong Medical Clinic with “a forensic image” of a computer hard drive and 21 documents.
