FINALLY!!!
A Boston, Massachusetts jury, after deliberating 5 days, has found Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter, a.k.a. Clark Rockefeller, guilty of kidnapping his 7 year old daughter, Reigh “Snooks” Boss. Clark Rockefeller was sentenced to 4 to 5 years in prison for abducting his daughter after having lost custody during a court supervised visitation in downtown Boston with his daughter, Reigh Boss, on July 27, 2008
It was a jarring finale for the German con man, who came to America as an exchange student, slipped into a life of lies and may be linked to the disappearance of a California couple.
The jury deliberated for four days before convicting him of parental kidnapping and assaulting a social worker who tried to stop the abduction.
Dressed in a dark suit, Gerhartsreiter showed no emotion.
District Attorney Daniel Conley said he hopes the verdict gives Gerhartsreiter’s ex-wife, Sandra Boss, and their daughter “some sense of justice.”
Gerhartsreiter, who also was convicted of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, was acquitted on an assault count and of giving cops a fake name.
The Clark Rockefeller saga has finally come to an end. The incident that started out as what everyone saw as an all too common parental kidnapping has turned into quite something different when Clark Rockefeller, really Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter, was located and arrested by police in Baltimore, MD

Jurors reached a verdict on their fifth day of deliberations in the case. Earlier in the week, they had asked the judge for more explanation on the insanity defense.
The jurors, who began deliberating Monday, rejected the theory put forth by Gerhartsreiter’s lawyers: that he was suffering from a delusional disorder and was legally insane.

“Today the victims in this case have some sense of justice, I hope,” said Suffolk County District Attorney Dan Conley “We are very happy with today’s verdict. We’re very happy with the jury.”

Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said detectives are pursuing all leads in the case of Linda and Jonathan Sohus. They vanished about the same time a German man using the name Christopher Chichester was staying on their property.
