Cindy & George Anthony Want Immunity Deal … Admit Making Conflicting Statements to Police in Caylee/Casey Case

NOW CINDY AND GEORGE ANTHONY WANT TO BE INTERVIEWED BY AUTHORITIES AND WILL BE TRUTHFUL!

Caylee Anthony needed the help of those she loved the most to help find her and be truthful with investigators when it mattered most. Everyone speculated why Cindy and George Anthony would have needed a personal attorney. How absolutely sad that Caylee’s grandparents come forward after she is found and claim they will not give conflicting statements to save their own A@# only if they are provided full immunity. The answer should be from the prosecutors office, a resounding NO!!!

Following the frantic 911 call from Cindy Anthony and the reference by both Cindy and George Anthony that Casey’s car smelled like death it was obvious to all that the Anthony family circled the wagons and changed their stories to protect Casey Anthony. The change of tone was apparent and now we are provided confirmation that the grandparents of Caylee Anthony knowingly provided “conflicting statements” to police.

Now we know why the Anthony’s only wanted to look for a “live” Caylee and in many respects provided no respect and in fact obstructed the case of missing Caylee Anthony in an effort to protect Casey. How much time, money and effort did the Anthony’s waste of the Orange County police, the FBI, Texas Equusearch and others by not being 100% truthful? Interesting that the grandparents suddenly want an immunity deal once Caylee Anthony’s remains were found. It would appear that the Anthony house of deceitful cards is crumbling.

If the grandparents, Cindy and George Anthony, have done nothing wrong and have cooperated with police and the FBI in the case of their missing granddaughter Caylee Anthony then why would they need an immunity deal? It is being reported by WFTV that the Anthony’s attorney, Brad Conway, will ask for an immunity deal for his clients against future prosecution. If they Cindy and George Anthony have been honest and cooperating with Orange County investigators, why would they need immunity?

The new lawyer for George and Cindy Anthony spoke to the public Monday (watch video). He said he didn’t know about plans to prosecute them on charges related to the case, but he did tell Eyewitness News that he is seeking immunity for Caylee’s grandparents.

Attorney Brad Conway says he just wants to make sure his clients are protected. He wants to make sure charges aren’t filed later.

It would seem that Cindy and George Anthony are a dollar short and a day late in asking for such an immunity deal. Actually, they are 6 days late as the skeletal remains of a child were located less than a half a mile away from their home last Thursday morning by a utility worker. All this time we were lead to believe by the Anthony’s that they were fully cooperating with the police. Now we learn from their attorney that they have made “conflicting statements” to the police. That would be legalize code for THEY LIED!

Eyewitness News reported last week that sources close to the investigation said they are possibly building a case against Caylee’s grandparents for obstruction of justice. Sources told Eyewitness News, if charges were pursued, it would be after the remains were identified and it would come from the forensic evidence that was recently taken from the Anthony home.

“They have cooperated. They have done nothing,” Conway said.

Conway said he plans to meet with the lead prosecutor and detectives later this week to ask for full immunity for the Anthonys.

“We will not speculate. If the attorney officially decides to ask our office, well will address it then,” said Danielle Taverneri, spokesperson for the State Attorney’s Office.

Conway admits the Anthonys have made conflicting statements in the past. They will be re-interviewed by investigators. He said, for the next interview they give to authorities, there will not be any conflicting statements.
