So why has there been no “Justice for Natalee” in Aruba?
In the end those that have claimed their was an obstruction of justice, cover up and corruption in Aruba in the investigation of Natalee Holloway were correct. Watch the following video of Aruban cover up and corruption.
Define irony? The Justice Minister of Aruba Rudy Croes obstructing justice in the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Croes claims that Jan van der Straten intentionally messed up the case due to nepotism, yet Rudy Croes never came forward with this information until now. Beth and Dave Holloway would have been interested in Croes’ latest comment in June 2005. Instead, the Justice Minister of Aruba took part in the obstruction of justice for Natalee and her family by not coming forward. How could anyone in Aruba have allowed van der Straten to be the lead investigator in the case with such a conflict of interest as being friends of Paulus Van der Sloot, the father of the prime suspect in the case of Natalee’s disappearance?
The Good Ship Aruba, its every rat for them self
However, over three and a half years later after Natalee Holloway went missing and the case was purposely botched, the rats are fleeing the Goodship Aruba as they begin to turn on each other. Justice-minister Rudy Croes says that the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba was messed up by Jan van der Straten in the first ten days to help his friend Paul van der Sloot to protect his suspected son Joran. However, after all this time why did Rudy Croes finally say something? Could it be a guilty conscience? Could it be he finally wanted to do the right thing? No, not it the slightest. Like everything in Aruba, Rudy Croes makes these accusations after 3 1/2 years because of self-serving political reasons.
Justice-minister Rudy Croes accuses nepotism as to the reason why van der Straten helped his friend Paulus Van der Sloot to protect his suspected son Joran Van der Sloot. However, the only reason why Justice-minister Rudy Croes is coming forward with these accusations at this time against Jan van der Straten is because Croes now that he feels attacked by the former chief of police.
Justice-minister Rudy Croes says this now that he feels attacked by the former chief of police and the first investigation leader of the case. Van der Straten has criticized certain aspects of the Police Corps (KPA) earlier this week. “He has also compared our Guarda Nos Costa with a politically driven group à la Chávez (Venezuelan president)”, says Croes. “He is an activist of the opposition party AVP, that’s why, but he forgets that it is the Natalee Holloway-case that was driven by favouritism.”
However, we must keep in mind that at the time of Natalee’s disappearance in Aruba in 2005, Paulus Van der Sloot worked for the Justice Ministry in Aruba as well. Yes, that very same Justice Ministry that Rudy Croes was the minister of. What was the connection there of Paulus and friends in high places that helped aid the Van der Sloot’s?
Aruba’s Justice Minister Rudy Croes confirmed on Thursday that Van der Straten delayed the start of investigations in order to protect his friend, Paulus van der Sloot, the father of Joran who is the main suspect in the case. Paulus was working for the Justice Ministry at the time.
The Aruban Justice Minister, Rudy Croes was actually going to wait until he retired before he was going to say anything regarding the outright mishandling and miscarriage of justice provided for Natalee Holloway and her family. Wouldn’t your brother Betico Croes be proud? Let us completely understand this. The Justice Minister of Aruba, Rudy Croes, had information for over 3 – 1/2 years that there was corruption in the investigation of Natalee Holloway and that Jan van der Straten was to blame. All this time he had knowledge of the cover up and corruption, yet he was going to wait until he retired to say anything? This from the Justice Minister of Aruba.
“I actually wanted to wait till my retirement next year to bring this into the open”, continues the minister. “But the time has come to tell the truth. When the case came to light, I heard Van der Straten say literally: ‘I can’t let this happen to my friend Paul’. And then during the first ten days, there were heavy telephone traffic between him and Paul van der Sloot.”
According to Croes, Van der Straten has perhaps consciously deployed the so-called flexiteam after the disappearance of Natalee. “He said in May 2005: ‘I can solve this with my flexiteam’. As everybody knows, the flexiteam was a team that was put into action when the regular police team was over-occupied; for example during carnival.
A detective could be included in the team, but it was no police-team that was capable of doing an investigation. Why didn’t he call in the taya-team (police officers with a lot of expertise and experience – red.)?”
