Can America afford to have four years of a Democratic controlled House, Senate and Presidency? Tax and spend liberals in control with no checks and balances … the premise is frightening.
If anyone thinks that there will not be increases in taxes on all with a Democratically controlled House, Senate and Presidency then you have not been paying attention to politics for the past 50 years.
There are basically always two major issues during a Presidential campaign, the economy and national security. Of course there are many other issues that attack people’s attention like healthcare, illegal immigration, social security … However, when one goes to the polls this November they need to make their decision bases on the future of the US economy and the fate of our national security and who best can lead America with those two issues.
We have already heard that Democrat Barack Obama wants to institute socialism and a “spread the wealth” policy as a way to how America’s economy is to go forward. Maybe the actual phrase from Obama that people can better understand is “spread your income.” This is no gaffe on Obama’s part, he defends his economic socialism plan of spreading your income to others who have done nothing to deserve benefiting from it. Why would anyone think that the Government can take better care of individuals or businesses in reallocating the monies when they cannot even take care of their own house? Redistribution of wealth is not neighborly, it is socialism. People giving and providing others through charity, that is neighborly. The government forcing people to give to others is hardly what our Founding Fathers ever envisioned.

Starting five years ago, when Frank rejected Bush administration efforts to clamp down on Fannie and Freddie, claiming they were – quote – “not facing a financial crisis,” dismissing fears as exaggerations that would “pressure” the lenders to cut back on housing loans to those in need.Barely 15 months later, with Fannie and Freddie engulfed in scandal over the same “terrible mistakes” Frank so abhors in the private sector, he was conceding they might need to be “better regulated,” but “not at the expense of housing” loans.
After the November election, Democrats will push for a second economic stimulus package that includes money for the states’ stalled infrastructure projects, along with help paying for healthcare expenses, food stamps and extended unemployment benefits, U.S. Rep. Barney Frank said Thursday. In a meeting with the editorial board of The Standard-Times, Rep. Frank, D-Mass., also called for a 25 percent cut in military spending, saying the Pentagon has to start choosing from its many weapons programs, and that upper-income taxpayers are going to see an increase in what they are asked to pay.The military cuts also mean getting out of Iraq sooner, he said.“The people of Iraq want us out, and we want to stay over their objection,” he said. “It’s extraordinary.” The Maliki government in Iraq “can’t sell (the withdrawal deal with the U.S.) because it sounds like we’re going to stay too long.”
