An amazing turn is evident from the Casey Anthony documents dump … from the outset Casey Anthony was preempting the fact that there was the smell of death in her vehicle. From the outset she was trying to justify the fact that she knew her trunk smelled like death and she needed a reason why. How could the Anthony family still believe that Caylee is alive and that Casey Anthony is not responsible for the disappearance of Caylee Anthony?

It’s death, no it’s a pizza, no it’s a squirrel

More documents have been released by the state in the case against missing Caylee Anthony’s mom, Casey Anthony. The newest document dump by investigators reveals some rather bizarre circumstances. According to released documents, Casey Anthony told her friend that “it smells like something died in my car”.  Amazingly enough, Casey Anthony said her father George had hit a squirrel but had “gotten rid of it.”

Nine days after Caylee Anthony was last seen, her mother contacted a friend and said “it smells like something died in my car,” new documents released on Tuesday show.

Casey Anthony later told friend Amy Huzenga, “There’s definitely part of an animal plastered on my car,” according to a transcript of her interview with Orange County deputies.

Many of the documents are text messages and phone records, but they do include some investigator interviews, including with Casey Anthony’s brother, Lee, and her friend Amy Huzenga.

Hunzenga told deputies that Anthony said her father George had hit a squirrel but had “gotten rid of it.”

Her friend Amy Huizenga said Cindy Anthony was worried when the tow company contacted her about the car that was hauled away from Amscot. The smell from the trunk was overpowering — like something had died. The parents initially couldn’t get it open because they didn’t have the keys. When they did open it, Cindy Anthony feared the worse. ” They were terrified it was either Casey or Caylee,” Huizenga said. “Because they had not talked to either of them. Because of the smell.”

In late June, Anthony talked to Huizenga about the “horrible smell” in her car and she couldn’t figure out the source. She said it smelled like something had died and the odor was coming from the engine. She told her friend that she thought her dad may have hit an animal when he borrowed her car. Days later, she told Huizenga that she found an animal “plastered” to the frame of her car.

Trunk Smelled Like Death … Blame it on the Squirrel.

And in other news from the case of missing Caylee Anthony, the reported sighting of Caylee Anthony at a McDonald’s in Tennessee, about 30 miles outside of Nashville turned out to be a false alarm. NO KIDDING … REALLY??? Maybe the sighting was that of a squirrel and not a little girl. Can we all just stop the BS of the Caylee sightings and come to the grim reality of what occurred. The sooner Cindy and George Anthony do this, the better it will be for everyone, especially little Caylee Anthony.
