Colorado Democrat Rep. Joe Salazar: Women Don’t Need Guns If They “Feel Like They’re Going To Be Raped” … “That’s Why You have Call boxes … it’s why we have the Whistles”

WAKE UP AMERICA, WHO IS CONDUCTING THE REAL WAR ON WOMAN? ITS NOT THE GOP … NOT WORRY ABOUT BEING RAPED WOMEN, THAT’S WHY YOU HAVE CALL BOXES AND WHISTLES, YOU DON’T NEED GUNS … SO SAYS THE DEMOCRAT MAN.

Check out the following comment from the Democrats when it comes to woman protecting themselves from rapists and attackers. I want you to keep one person in mind, failed GOP Senate candidate Todd Akin who made an ignorant comment when it came to woman and rape with “legitimate rape”. The Left and the media beat him over the political head with his comments and into submission and a Senate loss in Missouri in 2012. Now comes the following from the Democrats and  Colorado Democrat Rep. Joe Salazar . As reported at Red State, while Salazar arguing for the disarmament of college students, Salazar says that even if women feel like they’re going to be raped, they may not, so who needs a firearm for protection? What on earth are these people thinking? Where is the outrage from woman over this comment? However, the difference between Akin and Salazar is the latter is a Democrat and the liberal double standard will allow Salazar to make a later apology and tell everyone he was misquoted.

“It’s why we have call boxes, it’s why we have safe zones, it’s why we have the whistles. Because you just don’t know who you’re gonna be shooting at. And you don’t know if you feel like you’re gonna be raped, or if you feel like someone’s been following you around or if you feel like you’re in trouble when you may actually not be, that you pop out that gun and you pop … pop around at somebody.”

Wow, where to start? From Dana Loesch Twitter, ”Because women are hysterical little things who just shoot indiscriminately, according to Dem Rep. Joe Salazar”. How condescending could this Democrat male politician possible be and insensitive to the “REAL” attacks and rapes of women? It’s bad enough that Salazar was so flip in saying that women don’t need guns, they have whistles and call boxes to protect them. Really? Does anyone think that a call box or whistle is going to stop a rapist, or some one with a gun? But what was more damning was Salazar’s comment that women can’t understand when they are being raped …  “that women don’t know when we’re going to be raped, that [women] can’t recognize when there’s an inherent danger?” WOW!!!

UPDATE II: That did not take long for this fool to apologize. Just like when Todd Akin apologized for his ignorant “legitimate rape” comment, we will take the same approach as the Left and the MSM did … APOLOGY NOT ACCEPTED! Salazar apologizes “IF” he offended anyone. IF?

In arguing in favor of the ban, Salazar, D-Thornton, said that women on college campuses don’t need guns to feel that they’re safe.
