Not only is Obamacare a lie to the American people, so is the so-called internet traffic to the Obamacare health exchange websites …

According to the LA Times, that California is walking back their initial statements that 5 million individuals visited their health exchange site Tuesday, the launch of Obamacare. The California’s health insurance exchange only overstated a little as they are now reporting that only 645,000. As Maxwell Smart, Agent 86, used to say, “missing it be that much”. Of the 645,000 hits, only 514,000 were unique visitors. The insurance exchange had initially touted the faux 5 million claim as a way to spin the the enthusiasm and interest for Obamacare as well as the large traffic causing glitches.

Officials at the California insurance exchange website claim the error was a result of an internal miscommunication. Really, because I always confuse 5 million with 645,00. The Daily Caller is reporting that the Obama administration is not releasing any data on the number of people who successfully enrolled Tuesday. Why not, I thought this was supposed to be the most transparent White House ever? The fact is that if the numbers were fantastic and positive for Obamacare, Barack Obama would be praising them and spiking the football. However, it was a total bust.

California’s health insurance exchange vastly overstated the number of online hits it received Tuesday during the rollout of Obamacare.

State officials said the Covered California website got 645,000 hits during the first day of enrollment, far fewer than the 5 million it reported Tuesday.

The state exchange had cited the 5 million figure as a sign of strong consumer interest and a major reason people had so much difficulty using its $313-million online enrollment system.

Dana Howard, a spokesman for Covered California, said the error was the result of internal miscommunication.

“Someone misspoke and thought it was indeed 5 million hits. That was incorrect,” he said.

Howard said the revised Web traffic still represents a huge response. He said the number of unique online visitors Tuesday was 514,000 and the state received 19,000 calls.
