Unspeakable …17 Year Old Arnold T. Ross Arrested & Charged with Rape and Murder of a 8 Month Old Child

17 year old Arnold T. Ross was arrested by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and charged with aggravated rape and first degree murder of a 8 month old infant. The child, Da-Von Lonzo, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Ross id the boyfriend of the murdered baby’s mother. Rape and murder of an 8 month old child!!! There are crimes and then there are crimes that just shock all sensibilities.

Authorities say Ross told them he was the boyfriend of the infant’s mother and the baby fell down the stairs while he was baby-sitting.

Authorities say Ross later acknowledged that he beat the infant repeatedly when he would not stop crying.

The medical examiner ruled the boy’s death a homicide.

Under Louisiana law, Ross can be charged as an adult for these crimes. What a shock, Arnold Ross has a lengthy criminal history that includes arrests on drug possession charges; obscenity; battery on a correctional officer; three counts of battery on a school teacher; theft; weapons charges; and assault. Just the type one would want babysitting one’s child. Why do women allow their children to be around such heinous individuals?

In an interview, the teen, Arnold T. Ross, initially told authorities Da-Von fell down the stairs and stopped breathing while he was baby-sitting him. But a neighbor reported hearing loud noises coming from the apartment, and investigators noted inconsistencies in Ross’s statement, according to the sheriff’s office.
