Nevada Democrat Assemblyman Steven Brooks Arrested for Attacking Family Member and Grabbing for Police Officer’s Weapon

It’s bad enough when one attacks a family member, but grabbing for a police officer’s weapon … that will get one in a world of hurt.

It would appear that Nevada Democrat Assemblyman Steven Brooks life and career is spirally out of control. The 40 year old Assemblyman Brooks  was arrested on Sunday for physically attacking a family member and attempting to grab for a police officer’s weapon.  The arrest came only days after the North Las Vegas Democrat began a leave of absence following a string of bizarre events that began with his January 19, 2013 arrest for threatening Assembly Speaker Marilyn Kirkpatrick.  Brooks was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on misdemeanor charges of domestic battery and obstructing a public officer. His bail was set at $4,000.

Troubled Nevada Assemblyman Steven Brooks was arrested early Sunday in Las Vegas on suspicion of physically attacking a family member, then grabbing for an officer’s weapon.

The arrest came only days after the North Las Vegas Democrat embarked on a three-week leave following a string of bizarre events that began with his Jan. 19 arrest for allegedly threatening Assembly Speaker Marilyn Kirkpatrick.

Brooks, 40, was “agitated” and refused to obey officers’ orders when they arrived to find him outside a home after responding to a report of a domestic dispute, according to police. Brooks is accused of fighting and grabbing for an officer’s weapon as they tried to arrest him shortly after midnight.

Oh wait, Steven Brooks tried to grab a cop’s gun from him during the course of events. Can we expect a manifesto from Stevens and that the LEFT will make him a hero, much like  cop killer Christopher Jordan Dorner. I guess this is nothing more than racism as well.
