Polling Lows For Barack Obama … The Slide Begins as The One Becomes a Political Liability

It is official … President Barack Hussein Obama’s average job approval rating is in the red. Barack Obama has fallen and he can’t get up!

When a President is so disengaged from what is going on with America that vacations, golf, concerts and find raisers are more important that leadership in with the BP oil spill and the affects on the people of the Gulf Coast and leadership in providing an environment for job growth in the United States, Houston America … we have a problem.

Barack Obama has lost all sense of priority as President and what little he has done has been against the direct will of the people.

In recent weeks, poll after poll after poll has given Barack Obama negative job approval ratings. For months many had disapproved of the manner in which he has handled health care, illegal immigration, the economy, the budget and the federal deficit. Obama’s chickens have finally come home to roost as according to Real Clear Politics average polling date, Obama has a -3.3% approval rating where 45.7 approve and 49% disapprove.

Obama has lost the independent vote, Hispanics, the young vote and he has even lost woman. Which can explain why President Obama, the Honorary Chairman of the Boy Scouts of America, will be skipping the the 100th Anniversary of the Jamboree to go on ABC’s. “The View”. It can also explain why this president has such poor approval ratings as “The One” seems to be completely disengaged and lacks any clear understanding of his role as President. Going on “The View” rather than talking to America’s Boy Scout youth. Really? Talk about diminishing the position of the Office of the President of the United States. What’s next, Jay Leno and making fun of the Special Olympics? Oh that’s right, Obama has already done that.

President Obama will make history as the first sitting president on a daytime talk show when he visits with the ladies of “The View.” But he’ll be missing out on another historic occasion — the Boy Scouts’ Jamboree marking the group’s 100th anniversary, right in the president’s backyard.

With all that Obama has done and not done for that matter, is it any wonder why Democrat Gov. Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania stated that Obama could face a primary challenge in 2012? It’s not just Afghanistan that the LEFT is upset with Obama. So many campaign promises that The One made to the LEFT have either not been completed or have been watered down. Of course Obama faces a Catch-22, pander to the LEFT and continue to lose the middle and independents. Pander to the middle and lose is base. Ed Rendell even went so far as to criticize Barack Obama for going on “The View.” Rendellequated it with going on Jerry Springer. That might be a reach, but the point is made … the LEFT are beginning to eat their own.

It is amazing that Obama will dodge press conferences and questions from the press and instead go on The View. What is the matter, can this President not handle a couple of hard ball questions since the MSM have only really served up softballs in the past? So this is what the American Presidency has come to, the leader of the free world on “The View”. Coming soon to a TV near you, the Obama reality show … Are you Smarter than Obama?

What is most amazing is that Obama has become so unpopular within the Democrat party is that he might not only be primaried by a moderate, middle of the road, triangulated Hillary Clinton, Obama could also find himself in a three way race against an anti-war Leftist Democrat. My how “The One” has fallen.

Less than 100 days before the 2010 midterm elections, a job approval rating under water and so many Americans dissatisfied with Obama’s promise of “Hope & Change” … how much of a liability will Obama be this November? In a close race, in a red state or in a state where polling data is strongly against Obama on heath care, illegal immigration or the economy … how can Barack Obama help stump for a Democrat candidate? The answer is, no he can’t!
