Hey Congress … at Town Hall meetings you are to be seen and not heard.
Actually, you are to listen to “We the People” and not regurgitate your Obama talking points on health care. “We the People” are tired of listening to you … it is our turn to be heard and in these Town Halls, you will listen.
In a recent Rasmussen Poll, 56% of American voters say that it’s more important for Congressmen to hear the view of their constituents rather than explain the proposed health care legislation.
At town hall meetings on the health care issue, most Americans say it’s more important for those in Congress to listen rather than speak.
Fifty-six percent (56%) of voters nationwide say that it’s more important for Congressmen to hear the view of their constituents rather than explain the proposed health care legislation.
Forty-nine percent (49%) have a favorable opinion of those opposing the health care reforms at town hall meetings. That’s up eight points from 41% a month ago.
This small business owner in California let herself be heard at a Town Hall meeting. As a small business owner she could use tort reform. Conveniently enough in 1500 pages of the Obamacare House Bill there is not one page devoted to tort reform. As a small business owner, she could use competition in health care insurance. There are 1300 insurance companies in the United States and she can only use six in the state of California. There are approximately 37 million people in California and six insurance carriers. What would happen to the cost of health care insurance if they opened it up to competition and allowed the free market system to work?
President Barack Obama, the liberal Democrats and his socialist minions have awoke a Sleeping Giant called “We the People”. Democrats … vote at your own risk. A vote for Obamacare and following the foolish advice of Nancy Pelosi is a sure fire exit ticket out of Washington, DC.
