YOU KNOW SOME ONE IS PROBABLY TELLING THE TRUTH WHEN AN ARUBA PROSECUTOR AND JORAN VAN DER SLOOT BOTH SAY SOMEONE IS LYING.
Today, Aruba Chief Prosecutor Eric Olthof dismissed the claims that new witness, Jurrien De Jong, told to Inside Edition that Joran Van der Sloot killed Natalee Holloway at a construction site in Aruba in 2015. Jurrien De Jong previously said, “I saw Natalee Holloway on the last night that she was alive. I was the eyewitness. De Jong went on to say, “I saw that Joran was chasing Natalee into a small building under construction. In about five minutes he came out with Natalee in his arms, and slammed the body of Natalee on the floor, and then he made an opening in a crawl space … I knew she was dead.” However, Eric Olthof does not believe the witness that has come forward, ten years after Natalee Holloway went missing in Aruba. Why should any Aruba authority believe anything that anyone says that may solve the Natalee Holloway case? Hell, the previous prosecutors would not prosecute Joran Van der Sloot in the death of Natalee Holloway even after he admitted to the crime, not once , but twice.
Aruban authorities today dismissed claims by a man who says he saw what happened to Natalee Holloway 10 years ago.
Chief Prosecutor Eric Olthof said he asked the Aruban police to look into claims made by Jurrien De Jong to Inside Edition that he saw Joran van der Sloot, the primary suspect in Holloway’s disappearance, chase her into a small building under construction. He says van der Sloot then reemerged with Holloway in his arms, slammed her body on the floor then made an opening in a crawl space.
He has previously told media this building is the Spyglass Tower of the Marriott Hotel in Aruba. “I saw Natalee Holloway on the last night that she was alive. I was the eyewitness,” Jurrien De Jong told Inside Edition. “I knew she was dead.”
De Jong said he never went to the police because he was involved in illegal activities at the time. He says he has come forward now because of a recent TV report where van der Sloot claims he was part of an undercover operation in which Holloway was buried at sea. Holloway disappeared in Aruba in May 2005 during a trip with graduating seniors from Mountain Brook High School.
Earlier this week, the Daily Mail reported that van der Sloot also debunked De Jong’s claims. Van der Sloot’s attorney, Maximo Altez, said: ‘Joran doesn’t care at all about what is going on in Aruba, because none of it is true. ‘He told me he knows this guy. He’s a crack head, a f***ing liar, a compulsive liar. He’s homeless and wants money to buy drugs.”
Press release issued today by Ann Angela, spokeswoman for Chief Prosecutor Eric Olthof:
“Even though Mr. De Jong has not presented more plausible proof of his claims (his current testimony is identical to the one he gave in 2013 to the Prosecutor’s Office), Chief Prosecutor Olthof commissioned the police to contact the management of the Marriott -considering the type of case, the importance of the case and the long duration of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway- with the request to supply information about the state of the construction site of the Spyglass Tower of the Marriott hotel on the 30th of May 2005,” Angela said in the press release. “In short: what was built and what was not yet built on that 30th of May 2005, the night of the disappearance of Natalee?”
Recently the Prosecutor’s Office received the requested information from the management of the Marriott based in Orlando. “From this information, it becomes indisputably clear that on the 30th of May 2005, no construction or building activities were started at the location that Mr. De Jong has specifically pointed out as the spot where Natalee Holloway would have been hidden and/or buried,” according to Angela’s press release. “More concretely: the foundation of the Spyglass Tower (that still had to be built at the time) and of the staircase of the Spyglass Tower was not in place. This means that Natalee Holloway could never have been hidden and/or buried there.”
“This leads to the conclusion that the claims made by Mr. De Jong of what he saw on the night of 30th of May 2005, cannot be correct, and that his testimony, considering the afore-mentioned, does not add to the solving of this case,” Angela wrote. “Further investigation (in any manner whatsoever) under the staircase of the Spyglass Tower will not lead to finding the body of Natalee Holloway.
In my opinion, why isn’t Jurrien De Jong’s story plausible? Just because Joran Van der Sloot murdered Natalee Holloway at the construction site of the Spyglass Tower of the Marriott hotel on the 30th of May 2005, does not mean that Joran left her body there permanently. His father, Paulus Van der Sloot, is much to intelligent to leave the body of Natalee at a location on land where she could potentially be found. Because after all as Papa Sloot chillingly stated so many years ago, no body, no crime. Natalee may very well have been killed at this construction site and then was buried at sea. Remember Joran Van der Sloot said, “It’s a big ocean”.
UPDATE I: Aruba prosecutor says new Natalee Holloway ‘witness’ is lying.
Authorities in Aruba say a man who recently came forward to say he saw Natalee Holloway being killed 10 years ago doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
But a press release issued Tuesday by Chief Prosecutor Eric Olthof’s office debunked that claim, which investigators first heard in 2013. De Jong did not come forward sooner because he was involved in “illegal activities.”
