Hillary Clinton Upset over “Pimped Out” Chelsea Comment From MSNBC’s David Shuster … From the People who Brought American Children “Oral Sex”

Hey Hillary … Pimpin’ Aint Easy

With all the evil and despicable comments that have come out of the mouths of  MSNBC correspondents towards Republicans and their family members, one would think that the Clinton’s would need to take a number and get in line for an apology. Where are the apologies from Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and the rest for their remarks toward Republicans?

The irony is once again we are talking about a Clinton story where the use of the English language is in question. Its deja-vu all over again. Instead of depending on defining what is, is … The Clinton’s are up in arms over the word “PIMPED OUT”. Amazing, seeing that these are the same people who had parents across America have to discuss what “oral sex” was with their 10 year olds not to long ago. However, when the comments are made toward the Clinton’s, that means war.

Once again the Clinton’s show us that its all about them, not the American people. We also see the double standard of politics in the US.  Hillary Clinton goes to war with MSNBC over the comment made by MSNBC’s David Shuster for suggesting the Clinton campaign had “pimped out” 27-year old Chelsea by having her place phone calls to Democratic Party superdelegates on her mother’s behalf. The Clinton’s didn’t seem to care too much when the nightly news got an R rating discussing the exploits of Bill Clinton and Monica.  However, once again Hillary is seizing on this opportunity and playing the victim.

Was the comment probably in poor taste? Sure it was. Could Shuster maybe have used another term? Yes he should; however, in today’s 24–7 cable news media this has become common practice. Is anything David Shuster said any worse than what Keith Olbermann of MSNBC says every night regarding Republicans? No! Since the comment was made, David Schuster has apologized and been suspended.

Wolfson called Shuster’s comment “beneath contempt” and disgusting.

“I, at this point, can’t envision a scenario where we would continue to engage in debates on that network,” he added.

MSNBC said Shuster, who apologized on the air for his comment, has been temporarily suspended from appearing on all NBC news broadcasts except to offer his apology.

“NBC News takes these matters seriously, and offers our sincere regrets to the Clintons for the remarks,” MSNBC spokesman Jeremy Gaines said, adding the network was hopeful the debate would take place as planned.

Who honestly does not think every day the same thing that David Shuster was suspended for? Not just about Hillary Clinton, Chelsea or any staffers that would promote a candidate? They do “PIMP” themselves to the American voter. Maybe Schuster have used the word “used” instead? If he had, their would have been no uproar. What a double standard, Stop the ACLU reminds us that Republicans can be targeted with any hateful comments and that is perfectly OK. 

Funny, no body was suspended or even reprimanded when Jenna Bush was made fun of by the MSM when she was just being an every day normal college girl. The comments were nasty and vicious and may I remind everyone, she was a minor at the time, not a 27 year old woman campaigning for her parent.

Chelsea Remark Earns MSNBC Correspondent A Suspension

In case there was any doubt, using a prostitution metaphor for the daughter of a presidential candidate is not a good career move.

Not true. What they should have said is that using a prostitution metaphor for the daughter of a (DEMOCRATIC CLINTON) presidential candidate is not a good career move. Republican children are perfectly within limits and have been for years.

Letter from Hillary Clinton … What a joke, these comments coming from the very people who created scorched earth politics.

Dear Mr. Capus,

Thank you for your call yesterday. I wanted to send you this note to convey the depth of my feeling about David Shuster’s comments.

I know that I am a public figure and that my daughter is playing a public role in my campaign. I am accustomed to criticism, certainly from MSNBC. I know that it goes with the territory.

However, I became Chelsea’s mother long before I ran for any office and I will always be a mom first and a public official second.

Nothing justifies the kind of debasing language that David Shuster used and no temporary suspension or half-hearted apology is sufficient.

I would urge you to look at the pattern of behavior on your network that seems to repeatedly lead to this sort of degrading language.

There’s a lot at stake for our country in this election. Surely, you can do your jobs as journalists and commentators and still keep the discourse civil and appropriate.
